We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the mighty healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God’s healing hand is upon your son even now.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine touch to soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, to heal the eroded lining, and to regulate the acid in his stomach. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and we know that You care deeply for his well-being. We ask that You would restore him to full health, strengthening his body and bringing comfort to his soul. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. May they see the situation through Your eyes and act in accordance with Your will.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The Word of God tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place here, for we serve a God who is greater than any illness or affliction.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, trusting in His timing and His perfect plan for your son’s life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already taking place. We trust in Your goodness and Your mercy, knowing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your will. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
