We stand with you in agreement, lifting your son before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God. The struggles your son faces with medication-induced psychosis are deep and painful, but we serve a God who is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our souls. The Word of God declares in Psalm 103:2-4, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* We cling to this promise, believing that the Lord will bring clarity to your son’s mind, silence the torment of auditory hallucinations, and replace delusions with His truth.
It is beautiful that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of God. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your prayer is heard because it is offered in the name above all names, and we join you in claiming this authority over your son’s life.
We also encourage you to continue speaking life and truth over your son, reminding him of who he is in Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). The hallucinations and delusions your son experiences are not from God, for God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, and torment in Jesus’ name, commanding them to flee and declaring that your son’s mind will be renewed by the Word of God (Romans 12:2). Let him meditate on Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also pray for wisdom for you and the medical professionals involved in your son’s care. The Lord promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask (James 1:5), and we trust He will guide each decision regarding treatment, medication, and therapy. May the Lord lead you to the right doctors, the right support, and the right resources to bring about complete restoration. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lean not on human understanding alone, but trust that the Lord is directing every step of this journey.
Finally, we pray for your son’s spiritual strength. In the midst of this trial, may he draw closer to Jesus than ever before. May he find comfort in the psalms, hope in the promises of Scripture, and peace in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Let him know that even in his weakest moments, Christ’s strength is perfected (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that he will fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that he will emerge from this season with a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, asking for a supernatural touch upon this son. You know his name, his struggles, and the deepest cries of his heart. Lord, we ask that You would rebuke this psychosis and restore his mind to wholeness. Let every lie and distortion be replaced with Your truth. Bring divine connections—godly friends, mentors, and medical professionals—who will walk alongside him in this season. Father, we ask for a breakthrough that can only be attributed to Your mighty hand. Let this trial be a testament to Your power, love, and sovereignty. We declare healing, restoration, and victory over your son’s life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the praise. Amen.
