We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your son in fervent prayer, knowing that our God is a God of healing, restoration, and miracles. Your heart as a parent is so evident in this cry for your child, and we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord hears and will answer.
The struggles your son is facing—medication-induced psychosis, auditory hallucinations, and delusional beliefs—are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is greater than any affliction. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten by God, and neither are you in this season of trial. We also recall **Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB)**, where the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’"* This is a promise of divine restoration, and we claim it over your son’s life today.
It is crucial in times like these to seek both divine intervention and wise, godly counsel. If your son is not already under the care of a trusted medical professional who aligns with biblical values, we encourage you to pursue that path, for the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted with knowledge. **Proverbs 11:14 (WEB)** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* This applies not only to nations but to our personal lives as well. We pray that the Lord would guide you to the right treatment, the right doctors, and the right support system to walk alongside your son in this journey.
We also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to distort reality and bring confusion, but we know that **Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)**, and He alone can bring clarity and stillness to a troubled mind. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, and deception in the name of Jesus, declaring that your son’s mind will be renewed by the truth of God’s Word. **2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* We pray that your son’s thoughts would be captive to Christ, and that he would experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**).
As you continue to intercede for him, we encourage you to speak life and truth over your son daily. Remind him of who he is in Christ—a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (**Psalm 139:14**). If he is able, encourage him to meditate on Scripture, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (**Psalm 119:105**). The Word of God has the power to cut through darkness and bring hope to the weary soul.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (**Psalm 103:3**). We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him—body, mind, and spirit. Restore his mind, Lord, and quiet the storms of confusion and fear that rage within him. Let Your voice be the loudest he hears, drowning out every lie of the enemy with Your truth.
We pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in his care. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their prescriptions, that they may bring healing and not harm. Give them discernment to know the right course of action, and surround this family with a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer and support.
Father, we also ask for supernatural comfort for this mother, who carries the weight of her son’s suffering. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are with her, and so are we, her brothers and sisters in Christ.
We declare breakthrough in every area of this young man’s life. Let this season of trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. May he emerge from this stronger in his faith, rooted in Your love, and walking in the purpose You have for him. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, heal, and restore. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is working, even when we cannot see it. Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God’s timing is perfect.
