Let us come together, we lift up this dear mother's son to the Lord Jesus. We pray for his anxiety, especially his social anxiety that is causing him distress and hindering his ability to complete his college paper. We trust in the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We are instructed do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. We pray that God will grant him a sound mind and peace that transcends all understanding. We pray that God will guide him to the perfect topic for his paper and give him the wisdom and clarity to complete it in a manner that glorifies God.
We encourage this young man to cast all his anxieties on Jesus, because he cares for him. We urge him to be strong and courageous and not be afraid nor be dismayed, for the LORD his God is with him wherever he goes. We encourage him to seek God's will in all things, including his academic pursuits. We remind him that whatever he does, he should do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. We also encourage him to take God's grace that is sufficient for him, for His strength is made perfect in weakness. We encourage him to keep pursuing and honoring God with his whole being.
We also remind this young man's mother that God has a purpose for her son and that he is the one who put him in this college class. We encourage her to trust in the Lord Jesus with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding in all things she shall acknowledge him, and he shall direct her paths. We remind her that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
We rebuke all anxious thoughts and fears and command them to be gone. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered.
Father, we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in Jesus' name we pray. And as our Lord Jesus Christ commanded, we pray that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray for this young man's deliverance from anxiety and for divine inspiration and guidance as he writes his paper. We ask for wisdom and strength to be upon him. We pray that You will sharpen his mind and give him clarity of thought. We ask that You will bless the work of his hands and cause his paper to bring glory to Your name. We pray that You will use this situation to draw him closer to You and to strengthen his faith and trust in You.
We pray that this young man will call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved if he has not already done so. We remind him that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
