Son And Daughter-In-Law's Marriage In Turmoil

My daughter-in-law filed for divorce from my son. They have been married for four years and have a 9 month old baby girl. We have been in prayer for them to seek counseling and try to work out their problems, but my son has a horrible roommate named Steve who is as if the devil sent to keep pulling my son into his party lifestyle. He keeps bringing girls over and showing my son the drinking and party life every time my son starts to make a decision to work on his marriage. Please pray for God to let my son know how to handle Steve, turn his heart cold towards him and warm his heart towards God and his marriage and baby girl, to try to get his family back and be happy, start to go to church again and turn his back on all that other lifestyle. He has started drinking so much again that it has gotten to be a real problem and please help him see that it is a problem and he needs help with that also. My son just needs a complete change in his heart and bring him back to God and a cold heart against his friends that are pulling him in that direction...he needs Christian friends.....please pray that he will immediately see that they are no good and he loses immediate interest in them. He needs to start immediately for counseling and to try to get things going again instead of just wasting precious time. They are so close to doing what's right...my son just needs his head clear with Godly thoughts instead of "Steve thoughts." Thank you.

Prayers are being answered....my daughter-in-law has put a hold on the divorce papers and my son and daughter-in-law both agreed to go to Christian marriage counseling. They tried that one time before for a short time and it did not go well but maybe their hearts were not in the right place at that time. Now they have a baby so maybe it will be more important to them. They are going to stay separated until they go to a few sessions to see how it goes and to give his horrible roommate a chance to find another place to live. God is dealing with his roommate and he is working in their lives to restore their marriage. He is making them do the work but they are trying to put him back in their marriage. PRAISE GOD! Please continue to pray for this couple, pray for successful counseling and please pray that they will put God first in their marriage and keep him first! Thanks so much...
