Sometimes Lord Jesus, I sin knowingly, and out of the fear of God I repent. I believe in repentance, Lord, and I believe in being a better person every day. Or at least I try to be. But God, I am so imperfect sometimes, in my own ways, my own thinking, my own doing, -- I know Your love is full of unlimited grace and mercy, but Lord, the world and my own sins have put me far off from You, and I miss You.

God, I pray for blessings, but in the state I am in I know I am unworthy. I have tried hard in the fight for truth, but I feel compromised by my body, and compromised by the world.

Jesus, You are the God of unlimited compassion, and I want You to know that truly in my life I am so lost, and I need some divine help. If it isn't every day I bear another sin against God in one way or another, I don't know at all. And here I am hoping God will bless me, and send me on my way as a musician, but behind me is a life full of darkness, and every kind of misery. I feel trapped, and tapered out at two ends. But, God, one thing I do have is faith in You, and a heart that returns every day with loyalty to You.

I pray for forgiveness, and wisdom, and every kind of strength. I pray for Your love in this time, because clearly I am in great need of guidance. I pray for You to wipe clean my past from me, even divorced from today, and give me a truly clean slate in life, showing me where to go, what to do, and ensuring I stay on the right road.

I will not make my prayer long. I love You God, in Jesus Christ's name amen.
