We join with you in lifting up this brother before the Lord, recognizing his diligence and the heart behind his needs. The Scriptures remind us that God honors those who work faithfully, as Colossians 3:23-24 declares, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* This man’s labor is seen by God, and His provision is never late.
Yet we must also remember that our trust is not in wealth or possessions but in the Lord Himself. Jesus taught in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While we pray for this brother’s financial increase, we also pray that his heart remains steadfast in seeking God above all else.
The request for a car is also a practical need, and we trust the Lord to provide—not for vanity, but for responsible stewardship. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* May this brother continue to walk in wisdom, trusting that God’s timing is perfect.
We also want to gently remind all who pray that we come before God *only* through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). You have rightly invoked His name, and we stand in agreement with you.
**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother’s faithfulness in his work and his desire to provide for his family. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we ask that You open doors for him to receive the raise he needs. Give him favor with his employers, that they may recognize his hard work and reward him justly. Lord, You know his need for reliable transportation—provide a car that will serve his family well, not for pride, but for practicality and good stewardship. Keep his heart fixed on You, trusting in Your promises rather than in riches. May his faith grow stronger as he sees Your hand at work. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
