Some works of the flesh

"The works of the flesh are..."Well, of some not listed, I can think of a few.2,for now. One, making scapegoats.I notice many unsaved people, show a certain bias. they'll "cover for" someone in their family if they did wrong against someone. But the other side, someone they don't like, if there's something wrong, or something goes wrong, they'll blame the person they don't like, ALTHOUGH THE PERSON COUL'VE BEEN NOWHERE AROUND AT THE TIME.It's better for their ego to pin it on someone they don't like, then to admit it's their own shortcomings. {But it's also a form of dishonesty.}The political "left" does this a lot. I didn't agree with George Bush going into Iraq, but come on,he started getting blamed by "the left" for EVERYTHING.And of course the over the top hatred for Trump. If Trump saves someone from drowning, they'd say it was an optical illusion, he was really trying to drown them.{In other words, their hatred overrides their perception.{bias}But I've seen scapegoating in other than politicsWhere someone blames someone they don't like. The second work of the flesh I notice{because I don't see Christians do this}is self destructive habits."The thief comes not but to steal, kill, and destroy", and that's what I think the flesh cooperates with.I have a neighbor who was hospitalized for a long time, In rehab for longer, then when he gets out, the first thing he does is go back to the habits that caused his health issues in the first place__drinking and buying whole cartons of cigarettes. Instead of being grateful that God spared him, he abuses it and goes back to the darkness.Similar abuses I've seen, but it seems like self destructive habits and passing the blame for our misfortunes to someone could be addied to the works of the flesh.Wouldn't you say, because I don't see Christians doing these things.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight! Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!" (Isaiah 5:20-21, 23).

"For thus the LORD spoke to me with mighty power and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying, "You are not to say, 'It is a conspiracy!' In regard to all that this people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it. "It is the LORD of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread" (Isaiah 8:11-13).

We can't stop them from their negative thoughts and evil desires but we can pray for ourselves and to others to have a clean heart in Jesus. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10)

We can also share the gospel that all have sinned and let the Holy Spirit convict of righteousness, sin and judgement to come (John 16)... Hypocrisy is clearly the sin Jesus was hardest on "He will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites where ther is wailing and gnashing of teeth" (Matt 24:51) -- Some that hear the gospel are good soil that will bear fruit 30, 60 or 100 times as much (Mark 4 Parable of The Sower). Jesus already told us to preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16) and to go into all the world to make disciples by teaching them to obey everything He taught (Matt 28). It is very "easy" and "convenient" to forget this part that Jesus and the Apostles and Early Church emphasized so clearly and emphatically.
