Some things have changed from the past, but I would like to see them come back--one, you used to get a PERSON on the phone, now you get a recording and if they don't understand your question, you're stalled in place and {unlike in the past} if you request a person or press zero, they say, "invalid entry". They also quote back wrong info on what you told them. For this to go back to the person to person communication. The second change from the past is, my country {###} English was the official language and everyone understood everyone else. Also, in the past, when people settled here from a different country, they learned our language to communicate better. But the modern day people coming here keep their own language, and so it's gotten to such an extreme that I as an English speaking American have a hard time communicating in my own country. It's gotten to the point where if I find someone who can communicate with me in English, I feel that's the exception!! Reminds me of the tower of Babel. So these 2 things, the automated be done away with, and ### becomes an English speaking country again.
