) And there we stayed for a couple of months...but during this time, we went to Corinth to visit some Danish missionaries that were camping there at that time....in their many housewagons.There were about 30 people altogether living in this camp, including many children, and the pastor asked if someone of us would like to come and help them....to take care of the children, make food, clean, etc.
We were nearly 40 young males and females and everybody prayed over this request....but the only one whom felt that God was calling in this matter....was me.
So, instead of going back to Norway, I joined these missionaries and travelled together with them for about 4 months....across the east coast of Greece. That was really an amazing time for me in many ways....and I wanna tell you about some food blessings that I experienced during this journey....But first, I need to say that this group of missionaries were living in faith....I mean....they had faith on God that He always would provide them everything they needed, and they had lived this way for several years when I joined them.
) And I did experience God's faithfulness towards them during these few months....So, we travelled from Corinth with all the housewagons, and one day we came to this town where we should camp for awhile. Then came a "breadcar" into the camp, and he who sold bread, told us that a man in this town had said that as long as we were there, he would buy us all the bread that we needed for every single day! Wow! Just think about it....we were about 30 persons that needed quite a lot of this white bread every day. Glory to God!
And one morning as we in the pastor's family did eat breakfast in our kitchen wagon, the pastor said that now we needed to thank God this morning for giving us some more food to eat, because it was a lack of everything. So then we sat....about 13 persons with the children, and thanked our Heavenly Father that He would provide for the food that we needed....
Immediately after we all had said "Amen!", someone knocked on the kitchen wagon! I opened, and outside stood a woman from the town, asking if we needed some food!!!!!!! Well....I just stood there first with my mouth open....and then I told her that we just had prayed to God about this matter, and she and we all were overwhelmed!
She took me to a store and bought A LOT of food to us that day....oh what an AMAZING love and grace from Abba Father's heart! I will NEVER forget it.....Above all this, we experienced that the same woman invited 13 of us to eat dinner with her, and it was SO much and delicious food....and I got SO full!
) And even later in the same town, a man came into the camp with very much vegetables and fruits to all of us! I saw with my own eyes how God provided these faithful missionaries, and I have tried to remember all this, later in my life, when I faced trials and tests in this area....and I am SO grateful to God that He allowed me to have these precious experiences, and I do hope and pray that this story will even encourage you!)
