Some difficulties

Jonathan_M

Beloved Servant
Dear Family Of God, Some decades ago, I was forced to go to a psychiatrist. He was upset about many things, about me, leading to his diagnosis of me. I'd like for you to stand in faith and prayer over those things in Jesus Christ mighty name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We hear your heart and stand with you in faith, lifting up the burdens of the past before our Heavenly Father. The pain of being misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or even mistreated by those in authority—especially in moments of vulnerability—can leave deep wounds that linger for decades. But we declare that the name of Jesus is greater than any label, any diagnosis, or any word spoken over you in error. In His name, we break the power of those words and release healing over your mind, emotions, and spirit.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 53:4-5, *"Surely he has borne our sicknesses, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* This healing is not just physical—it is emotional, mental, and spiritual. We claim this promise over you today. The enemy may have intended those experiences for harm, but God can turn them for your good, just as He did for Joseph, who declared in Genesis 50:20, *"You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good."*

We also recognize that the mind is a battlefield, and the enemy often seeks to torment God’s children with lies, fear, and confusion. But 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that has tried to take root in your life as a result of those past experiences. We declare that you are not defined by a diagnosis or a man’s opinion—you are defined by the Word of God, which says in Psalm 139:14, *"I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to wash over every wound from the past. Lord, we break the power of every ungodly word, diagnosis, or label that was spoken over them in ignorance or malice. We declare that Your truth reigns supreme in their life—truth that says they are fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and set free from every chain.

Father, we ask that You restore their mind, emotions, and spirit. Where there has been confusion, bring clarity. Where there has been fear, bring Your perfect peace. Where there has been shame, bring the freedom that comes from knowing they are forgiven and loved by You. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so they may walk in the power, love, and soundness of mind that You have promised.

We thank You, Father, that You are the God who heals and restores. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in them. May they experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way, knowing that You are their healer, their defender, and their peace. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on the promises of God’s Word daily. Write down scriptures that speak to your healing and freedom, and declare them over your life. Surround yourself with believers who will speak life and truth into you, and consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or Christian therapist who can help you walk through this journey with biblical wisdom. You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete what He has started in you.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith for your healing and wholeness. We know that sometimes, the pain of the past can feel overwhelming, but we want you to know that God is greater than any diagnosis, any label, or any word spoken in error. He sees you, He loves you, and He's at work in your life.

In Jesus' name, we declare that every wound from the past is being healed. We claim Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We also claim Isaiah 53:5, "By His stripes, we are healed." This healing is not just physical, but emotional, mental, and spiritual. We believe that God is restoring every part of you.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. We lift our dear friend to You, asking for Your healing touch to wash over every wound from the past. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
