Thank you for letting us pray with you about this need. Even the practical frustrations of a machine that will not work right, the extra trouble after a repair, and the difficulty of moving it are not too small for the Lord to care about. He invites you to bring every concern to Him personally through Jesus Christ, not as a distant force but as the living God who knows you and hears you when you call.

I have prayed that God will bring His help to you in this situation, and that He will give you patience and comfort as you wait. Scripture shows us that God is the God of patience and comfort, and that patience and comfort from His Word produce hope. He is patient in working out His purposes and He always accomplishes what He has promised, even when the answer seems to tarry. Like a farmer waiting for the harvest, He is not slow as we count slowness, but faithful. In the same way, you can with patience wait for His help, trusting that He will provide in His time and way.

It is easy when things break down again and help is hard to reach to feel frustrated or to contend with God and ask why He allows these hindrances. Scripture reminds us that we do not always know what is good for us in this life, and that our peace comes not from figuring everything out but from resting in Him and trusting Him to do what we cannot do for ourselves. He is at work in you both to will and to do, and as you rest in Him He gives a quiet peace even while the problem is still being worked out.

I have also prayed for the technician, that God would make him attentive and open and willing to answer and to help you well. God graciously uses imperfect people, and He does not require perfection before He can work through someone. Praying for this man is asking God to work in his heart to be more careful and responsive, and to give you favor in that conversation.

And I have prayed for practical help to carry and manage the mower, that the Lord would provide strength and the right assistance so the burden is not too heavy for you.

Jesus said to come to Him when you thirst and to drink, and He has opened the way for you to come directly to God without any barrier. You can come at any time on the basis of His grace, not on the basis of your own faithfulness, and find mercy and help. May the God of patience and comfort give you hope as you trust His Word, and may the God of peace be with you and meet this need according to His goodness. In Jesus name, amen.
