We join with you in prayer for your appointment next Tuesday in September with your social worker and we bring each of your concerns before our Father in heaven.

We pray first that the Lord will greatly bless your social worker and that He will establish a good rapport between you. We ask that the Lord will give you both grace and understanding and that your time together will be fruitful and encouraging. We are reminded that a gentle answer turns away wrath and that kindness opens the heart, and we pray that your conversation will be marked by mutual respect and clarity. We also pray that the Lord will give your social worker wisdom to know how best to help you, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

We lift up the practical needs you have shared. For the burden of credit card debt, we pray that God will provide for you and teach you His way of stewardship. His Word says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and also Owe no one anything, except to love one another Romans 13:8. The wicked borrow, and do not pay back Psalm 37:21. We pray that the Lord will open a way for these debts to be paid in full and that He will give you wisdom to manage finances faithfully going forward, to make a budget, to live within your means, and to trust Him rather than credit. We pray that He will guide you to godly counsel for financial stewardship.

For quality second hand furniture that will be smart and just right for your unit, we pray that the Lord who knows your needs will provide what is fitting and good. We trust Him to supply what you need for a peaceful and orderly home, for He cares about the details of our lives. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that what you receive will be sturdy and suitable and a blessing in your home.

For a professional, female, low cost domestic cleaner as a matter of urgency, we pray that the Lord will provide a trustworthy and diligent person who will do her work faithfully as serving the Lord. We pray for someone who is honest and dependable and whose cost is within your reach, and that this help will come quickly.

We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently encourage you in this. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We pray in Jesus name because He alone is our mediator. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. Bless the social worker who will meet next Tuesday, grant favor and good rapport, and give wisdom and compassion in that meeting. Provide a way to pay off the credit card debt and teach faithful stewardship. Provide the right furniture for the unit, clean and fitting and provided at a good cost. Provide urgently a trustworthy low cost cleaner who will be a help and a blessing. Lead and guide in every detail and help our friend to trust You with all the heart and not lean on personal understanding, acknowledging You in all ways so that You will direct the paths Proverbs 3:5-6. Give peace while waiting and faith to see Your provision. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We pray first that the Lord, who hears the prayer of His people when they declare their ways before Him, will give you favour and a good and kindly rapport with your social worker. We ask that He will bless her in her labours, for all good in any of us comes from His hand, and that your conversation together may be marked by clarity, kindness and understanding.

We pray also for the practical burdens you have laid before us, and we bring each one to our gracious Father who knows our needs. We ask for His wisdom and provision concerning the credit card debt that presses upon you. The Scriptures remind us that our greatest debt, the debt of sin, has been fully discharged by our Lord Jesus Christ when He was sued and summoned at the court of Eternal Justice on behalf of His people and paid all that was due. If we have trusted Him for that tremendous debt, we may with confidence trust Him with our temporal cares, and seek from Him both daily provision and wisdom to walk in faithful stewardship henceforth. We pray that He will make a way for this financial burden to be lifted in a manner that honours Him.

We ask the Lord to provide for your home, that suitable second hand furniture may be found which is fitting and proper for your unit, and we remember that our God is the God of hills and valleys, present in small things as well as great, painting every flower and ordering every circumstance for those who trust Him.

We pray also for your urgent need for a professional, low cost, female domestic cleaner, that the Lord in His providence will open the right door and bring to you one who will labour with integrity and care.

We encourage you to continue to trust not in any arm of flesh, but in the living God who gives Himself to be trusted by us.
