So Sick ignored and cold

We hear your cry and we are lifting you up together before the Lord right now, asking Jesus to draw near to you in this time of sickness, cold, and feeling ignored. We know how heavy it is to carry many serious afflictions and to feel unseen by those who are supposed to help you, but we want to assure you that you are not ignored by God. He sees your suffering and hears your voice. Exodus 3:7 says I have surely seen the affliction of my people and have heard their cry, and Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

It hurts when a provider does not respond, and feeling cold and sick can make everything feel even more overwhelming. We pray that the Lord will comfort you with His presence and also move on the hearts of those responsible for your care to act with compassion and diligence. We also encourage you, if you are able, to reach out again persistently, to let a trusted family member, friend, or advocate know that you are feeling ignored and need help, and to seek urgent care if your afflictions worsen or you remain cold and unwell, for God often provides help through the hands of others. Remember Jesus invites you personally, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28, and He is still the one who heals us, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3, and who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation and help. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and we cling to that promise as we pray for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring our dear one before Your throne of grace. Lord, You see every affliction, every pain, every chill, and every tear, and we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this body. Bring warmth, bring relief, bring restoration according to Your will. Let Your peace guard this heart that feels ignored and cold, and remind them that they are fully known and deeply loved by You. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, and we claim that strengthening help now. We pray also for the provider and all medical staff, that You would give them eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to respond with attentiveness and care, and we ask You to open doors for proper treatment and support. Holy Spirit, comfort and hold them through this night and in the days ahead, and let them feel Your nearness. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer, and we encourage you to keep calling on Jesus, to keep seeking help until you are heard, and to stay as warm and hydrated and rested as you are able. You are not forgotten. We are standing with you and asking God to show you tangibly that He has not left you alone, and to bring both physical relief and the deep comfort that only Christ can give.

We have been holding your note before the Lord and we are so sorry for what you are carrying. To feel sick and cold in your body and at the same time feel ignored by your provider is discouraging and lonely. It makes sense you would cry out to Jesus for help.

When afflictions linger and answers are slow to come, it can wear on more than the body. It can leave you feeling unseen and worn down, and even make it harder to keep reaching out for help. You are not unseen here, and you are certainly not unseen by the Lord. We are praying for you to sense His nearness in this hard stretch.

Since you mentioned feeling ignored and having many serious afflictions, we want to encourage you to keep seeking medical care alongside prayer. If you have not heard back, it can help to call again and ask to speak with a nurse or patient advocate, bring a trusted friend or family member with you to help ask questions, and jot down your main symptoms, when they started, and what feels most urgent to share clearly. If you are getting worse, feeling very cold, or are worried, please seek care promptly through your clinic, urgent care, or local emergency services.

Jesus, we bring our friend to You now. You know the sickness and the cold and the ache of feeling unheard. Draw near with comfort and peace tonight, give wisdom for the next steps, and lead to helpers who will listen well and care well. Give strength for each day and guide every decision for care. We place our friend in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

To be sick and to feel ignored and left in the cold is a double affliction, and your cry, Jesus help, is the very prayer that reaches the ear of heaven. The Psalmist speaks of my affliction, as you do now, for when trial comes it becomes personal and heavy, and it is right to bring it before the Lord as your own burden which He sees.

You speak of being ignored by your provider and of many serious afflictions. There is One who knows what it is to be left alone just when most, as man, He needed human sympathy. Our Lord Jesus was forsaken by His friends and left alone in His sorrow, yet He could say, I am not alone, because the Father is with me. He understands the chill of being overlooked and the pain of being without comfort, and He draws near to those who feel friendless. Though man may neglect you, the Lord will look upon your affliction, and He does not turn away from the cry of the suffering.

There is also a peculiar comfort for the believer in affliction, and that comfort comes from His Word which quickens. Unless His Word had been your delight, you would perish in affliction, but His Word gives life again when strength is gone. It is the Word applied by the Holy Spirit that heals, and Christ Himself is the Word whom God has sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls. It is written, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and there is not one disease in the whole list of human ills which He did not show His power to heal. Even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, which tells us that the least thing about Christ has healing virtue for the sick at heart.

May the Lord in mercy lay His hand upon your body and give you warmth and relief, and may He move those who are appointed to care for you to attend to you with diligence and compassion. May He quicken you by His Word and give you that comfort which belongs to His own in affliction, so that though the bark of the tree of affliction is bitter, you may find the pith to be sweet, and may see that this light affliction, though heavy to bear now, is working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

We pray that the Great Physician will visit you now that you are sick and faint, that He will forgive and heal, for pardon and healing are joined together in Him, and that He will keep you from perishing in this affliction. Cast your whole burden upon Him who bore your sicknesses on the cross, and rest in His presence, for He will not leave you alone nor ignore your cry.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will provide for your needs, give wisdom to your providers, and surround you with His comforting presence till health is restored and your heart is able to praise Him again for His healing power.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words about being so sick, feeling cold and ignored have reached us and my heart is moved with compassion for you in these many serious afflictions. To feel unseen by those who should care for you, including your provider, adds a heavy burden to the suffering of the body.

Please know that even when people are slow to respond, God does not ignore you. He sees you in your weakness and draws near to those who call upon Him. The Lord Jesus knows what it is to suffer and He is present with you now, not cold or distant, but full of mercy and loving kindness.

Scripture reminds us that sickness is not beyond His power and that He can bring good and glory even through long suffering. Like the sisters of Lazarus who still came to Him and trusted Him even when the outcome looked contrary, you can bring your pain honestly to Christ and trust His loving purpose. We are not made whole by our own works, but by His grace, received through faith. He often confirms faith in the soul even before healing in the body, saying according to your faith be it unto you, and He often works through the hands of physicians and through persistent care. So I encourage you not to give up seeking help. As physicians are called to keep applying what is in their power and not to neglect the sick, so keep reaching out to your provider, and if you are not heard, seek another advocate, a nurse line, urgent care, or a trusted person in your church or family who can help you be heard and help keep you warm and cared for.

I pray for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this dear one who is sick and suffering. You see every affliction and You know the cold and loneliness of feeling ignored. Lay Your healing hand upon this body according to Your will, grant faith and peace in the soul, and comfort the heart with Your presence. Move the hearts of providers and caregivers to respond with attentiveness and compassion, and provide warmth, help and relief. Strengthen faith to trust You day by day and to receive Your grace. Bring restoration and hope, and let Your love be felt in a tangible way. In Jesus name, Amen.

If you can, please let someone near you know how you are feeling today so you are not alone in this, and continue to seek medical attention promptly for your symptoms. You are not forgotten, and we will continue to pray for you.
