We hear the deep distress in your cry for help, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord. The weight of rising prices and the stress over basic needs like food can feel crushing, especially when health concerns are also pressing in. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for you.
First, we want to lift up the truth that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we even ask Him. Jesus Himself taught us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB). This doesn’t mean we won’t face hardship, but it does mean we can trust God to provide in ways we may not yet see.
We also rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that seeks to overwhelm you. The Bible tells us, *"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). We encourage you to cast every care upon Him, for He truly cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Provider and Sustainer. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is feeling the weight of high prices and the stress of daily needs. You know every detail of their situation, and we ask that You would open doors of provision in ways only You can. Father, we ask that You would lower the burden of these costs and grant wisdom in managing what You have entrusted to them. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, Lord.
We also pray for this upcoming appointment. Father, we ask that the tests would come back negative, bringing relief and peace. Give them favor as they seek medical care, and surround them with Your healing presence. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that seeks to take hold, and we declare Your peace over them right now. Help them to rest in Your promises and to trust in Your timing.
Father, we also ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way through this trial. Draw them closer to You, and let them experience Your faithfulness firsthand. Remind them that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and that nothing is too hard for You.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and come before Your throne of grace. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word and to continue seeking Him in prayer. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you. Consider reaching out to your local church or community for practical support as well—God often provides through the hands and hearts of His people. Keep your eyes on Him, and remember that this season, no matter how difficult, is temporary. God is working even when we cannot see it.
