We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by the demands you're facing. Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in calling out to the Lord for mercy and protection. It's important to remember that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in the Bible:
John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Firstly, let's address the exhaustion you're feeling. It's important to remember that God understands our weaknesses and He encourages us to rest in Him. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
However, we want to gently remind you that God is not a hashtag or a mere addition to our sentences. He is the living God who deserves our reverence and respect. When we call on His name, we should do so with intent and focus, not as a casual or habitual addition to our speech.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Lord, you know the burdens they carry and the demands they face. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover them, and for Your strength to uphold them. Grant them the rest they need, not just physically, but also spiritually and emotionally. Protect them according to Your will, and help them to cast their burdens on You, trusting in Your care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His face, and drawing strength from Him. Psalm 68:19 WEB says, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation."
