Hi I'm Luis, & I am asking to help me by asking the lord to take my depression away & to give me a kind heart. I know I'm asking for a lot but I would love to help people out again. It got worse yesterday as I read on stuff about psychopaths, which in case got me thinking I am the most worthless person now. I abuse drugs just to "forget" all this rejection. I can't look people in the eyes at times & don't like talking to anyone anymore. I stopped praying to god for a while & stuff went down the drain, but I am feeling dead, please help me with your thoughts & prayers. I will keep my faith as long as I can hold on..

I'm sitting, thinking about a reply I wrote to someone and this is what came to me. The love of God. God in his infinite mercy and love, draws us, woos us, broods over us, hovers over us by His Spirit. It is in the light of His LOVE, do we realize that something is drastically wicked in us. It is the GOODNESS OF GOD that leads one to repentance. It's not so much God who shows us our sin, but how HOLY and RIGHTEOUS He is and we recognize our need of a Savior. We see HIm and fall before Him, woe is me, a man of unclean lips!
If you gave your life to Jesus, then the only 'dead' you feel is the deadness of your relationship with God. But let me share this, beloved of God, He is calling you, wooing you NOW! The reason why you are even here is because He is telling you it's time to stop running, Luis. Come to me, for you labor and are heavy burdened. Change your way of thinking and doing things. It has NOT worked for you!! Return back to your first love, Jesus!
God is the one watching daily at His gate, looking down the road, watching for His son, Luis who took his inheritance and went into the world. God has been watching and waiting for you. He sees you
afar off (notice He saw your familar walk, the way you hang your head when you are hurting) and picks up His robe and begins running, RUNNING to meet his son who was lost and now is found. You see the glorious of His majesty running towards you and you try to get away because you see yourself worthless, but God says, MY son! MY son! you were lost but now you are found! He calls to His servants, "Quickly go get my best robe, you know the 'white one with the red cord running through it'. Quickly, oh and don't forget that ring I bought him, the 'sonship ring!" And calls to his other servant, kill the fatted calf, we're going to celebrate! Quickly, quickly! My son who was lost is now found!
You know Jonah was called of God...and he took off, ended up in a whale's stomach (ew). Gideon, he was afraid, yet God called him, "O valiant warrior!" David, was supposed to go to war but decided to stay home and ended up in an aduterous affair with Bathesba, yet, David was quick to repent, and God says David had heart after God.
You, Luis, have a heart after God. How do I know, you said it and it bore witness to me. You do have a 'kind' heart but it sort of got wrapped with with the cares of this word. But it's there. Your heart IS after God, otherwise you would not be here asking for prayer.
Father, I bless you for your goodness and love for Luis. Calling him out of darkness and into marvelous light, I ask that Your light would be like sharp two edged swords that pierces and shatters the lies of the enemy.
Show Yourself strong on his behalf. Oh send out Your Light and Your truth, let them lead Luis! Set his feet firmly on the paths of righteousness for he was born for such a time as this. He was ordained to take your word to the nations. Godly, righteous, son of God, who goes forth and wrecks the plans of the enemy by speaking truth! His life is a testimony of how You brought him out of the pit of miry clay and set him upon the rock of His salvation, Jesus Christ.
Let your word hit it's mark in his heart and mind. Cause Luise to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for it is on You, Lord that he leans and it is in You, Lord that he trusts. Show him your ways, O God, teach him your paths, lead him in your truths and teach him, for you are the God of his salvation.
I bless you, Luis, with shalom. Father restore and redeem this man's life, not back to what it was before he walked away, but into a brighter more sure foundation in Christ Jesus. Direct him to a spirit led church and godly men who seek your face to minister grace and your abundant love to him. In Jesus name. Amen.
