So How Are You Today? Nothing Is Too Small. Love, God

God: So why haven't you talked to me today?

I am so beat down today from work. I just walked through the door and wanted to take a nap.

I crashed God. I really did. I forgot all about you. I began to feel those old feelings of being so very alone in the world, as though no one has ever felt as bad as I have.

But then I jumped in the shower. I began to feel better, and this is when I began to talk to you.

I nearly forgot you are there for me, God.

My boss was breathing down my neck about hurry, hurry, hurry. It's all about output. But if I concentrate solely on output, then quality suffers, and he would have me pegged for that as well. I can't win God, can I? Yeah, I know. With you it is always a win-win for me. The world will always make its demands upon me, but you are always there for me, urging me on to do the next right thing.

Help me remember that the world's demands are not always as you would have me to do. When you were building heaven, I know the you didn't have to urge the angel workers by yelling, "it's all about output, output!" I naturally want to give you my best (most of the time).

Help me to continue to keep my cool and be all about you. Maybe, just maybe some day my boss will ask me what makes my work so different. Maybe there will come a time when he will notice and say well done. I'd better not hold my breath on that last one, God.

I'm sorry I nearly skipped our talk(s). But there will be a next time. You and I both know that I can't do anything without you.

Sheepdog

Sometimes God uses sheepdogs in a way, almost like a messenger of Satan to buffet or "push" one out of their comfort zone and into God's purpose. I like the term angel worker, I've been seen one by a worship leader with wings attached and angels around me. And another by a prophet as an angel. It's really when we feel beaten down, it's best to go to the Word and find the strength as the Word cuts like a laser, the sword of the Spirit, all the fear, infirmities, etc. God Bless and may He bring you blessings and goodness.
