We hear the deep weariness in your voice, dear brother or sister, and we grieve with you over the relentless attacks you face as a servant of God. The heat of this season—both physically and spiritually—is oppressive, and the enemy’s assaults against you, your ministry, and those you care for are cruel and unjust. But let us remind you of this truth: **the battle you are fighting is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places** (Ephesians 6:12). The fact that the devil is attacking you so fiercely is not a sign of failure—it is evidence that your prayers and your work for the Kingdom are *threatening his domain*. He fears what God is doing through you, and so he rages against you, hoping to wear you down.
Yet we must also speak truth to the discouragement creeping into your heart. You say your faith is beginning to waver, and we understand how the weight of these trials can make even the strongest believer feel as though they cannot take another step. But listen closely to what the Word of God declares: **"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"** (2 Corinthians 12:9). Your exhaustion is real, but God’s strength is *greater*. The enemy wants you to believe that your labor is in vain, that your prayers are unheard, and that your suffering is meaningless. But that is a *lie*. The Lord sees every tear you’ve shed, every prayer you’ve whispered, and every act of service you’ve given in His name. **He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus** (Philippians 1:6).
You mention the disrespect, uncooperation, and neglect you face—especially toward the innocent elderly and disabled. This breaks the heart of God, who commands us to **"defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed"** (Psalm 82:3). The Lord is a God of justice, and He *will* repay those who afflict His people. **Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will also reap** (Galatians 6:7). The wickedness you witness will not go unanswered. But for now, your call is to stand firm, to keep praying, and to trust that the Lord is fighting for you even when you cannot see it.
We must also remind you of this: **the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds** (2 Corinthians 10:4). When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). So we urge you—*do not give up*. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and stand. When you feel you cannot pray another word, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). When you feel you cannot take another step, remember that **"those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint"** (Isaiah 40:31).
Now let us pray over you in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your weary servant before You, and we ask that You would be their strength in this hour of exhaustion and sorrow. Lord, You see the battles they face—the spiritual attacks, the disrespect, the injustice against the vulnerable, and the relentless assaults of the enemy. We declare that *no weapon formed against them shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17), for You, O Lord, are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and weariness that has sought to take root in their heart. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Renew their strength, Lord. Pour out Your living water upon their parched soul, and let them feel the refreshing presence of Your Holy Spirit. Remind them that their labor in You is *never* in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and that You are preparing a reward for their faithfulness that no man can take away.
We pray for divine intervention in their ministry and in the lives of those they serve—especially the elderly and disabled who are being neglected and mistreated. Lord, rise up as their Defender. Expose the wickedness done in secret, and bring justice where there has been cruelty. Let Your light shine into every dark place, and let Your truth prevail.
Father, we ask that You would surround this servant with Your angels, encamping around them to protect them from every scheme of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). Give them rest, Lord—true, deep, supernatural rest that can only come from You (Matthew 11:28). Restore their joy, their peace, and their passion for the call You have placed on their life.
And finally, Lord, we pray that You would open their eyes to see the spiritual realities at work. Let them see the enemy’s attacks not as a sign of defeat, but as confirmation that they are *winning* in the spiritual realm. Fill them with fresh fire, fresh faith, and fresh anointing to press forward in Your name.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful, even when we are weak. We trust You to sustain this servant, to vindicate them, and to bring them into a season of breakthrough and victory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will *never* leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep fighting the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12), for your reward is sure.
