SNITCH

```markdown
We have all heard the saying "Snitches get stiches." We have been taught to believe that to be a tattle-tale is wrong. Certainly, in our day to day lives dealing with one another, being a talebearer (gossiper) is indeed ungodly. There are several scriptures in Proverbs, in particular, that lend support that theology. Howbeit, real prophets are in fact "God's snitches" if truth. Well, that just makes no sense. Exactly! And this is where the world's view collide with the Word of God. Rooted in greed, wrought of "pride of life," man's priorities are trivial compared to God's purpose: Isaiah 55:9 (KJV) ⁹For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Because He is "The Preeminent Being," God's purpose will always far exceed man's priorities. God's purpose is to spare lives. All that is required of man is to heed His Word.
Let's take a closer look at how God's prophets are called to operate compared to man's prophets (instructors).
Lamentations 2 (KJV)
¹⁴Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. ¹⁵All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, 'Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth'?
Lamentations 2 (MSG)
¹⁴Your prophets courted you with sweet talk. They didn't face you with your sin so that you could repent. Their sermons were all wishful thinking, deceptive illusions. ¹⁵Astonished, passersby can't believe what they see. They rub their eyes, they shake their heads over Jerusalem. 'Is this the city voted "Most Beautiful" and "Best Place to Live"'?
Consider all the things your instructors have had you DOING. They have literally compiled a list. False religion based on superstitious rituals, rather than God's instructions for righteous (just and moral) living, profanes the land. Yet, man persists.
Isaiah 57 (KJV)
¹⁰Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved. ¹¹And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? ¹²I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
Translation...
Isaiah 57 (MSG)
¹⁰"You wear yourselves out trying the new and the different, and never see what a waste it all is. You've always found strength for the latest fad, never got tired of trying new religions." ¹¹"Who talked you into the pursuit of this nonsense, leaving Me high and dry, forgetting you ever knew Me? Because I don't yell and make a scene do you think I don't exist? ¹²I'll go over, detail by detail, all your 'righteous' attempts at religion, and expose the absurdity of it all."
All of these behaviors are happening, in this generation, in year 2025, in this otherwise intellectual land, simply because...
"IT IS WRITTEN"
(Romans Ch.9)
Ezekiel 12:25 (NLT)
²⁵"For I am the LORD! If I say it, it will happen. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!”
Indeed, God's prophets often got far worse than stiches. Nevertheless, I bear witness in writing (I snitch).
Thank You LORD for this Ezekiel 12 assignment.
Revelation 22:10 (NLT)
¹⁹Then he instructed me, “Do not seal up the prophetic words in this book, for the time is near."
