AND?...

In Matthew 5:37, Jesus instructs us as follows:

Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one. [Matthew (5:37)]

But, that's regarding the vows that one makes.

Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut. [Proverbs 10:19, (NLT)]

Indeed. Howbeit, the protocol for God's messengers is the exact opposite.

ALL THESE WORDS

Old Testament Prophets

Therefore thou shalt speak ALL these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. [Jeremiah 7:27 (KJV)]

He said to me, “Son of man, watch and listen. Pay close attention to everything I show you. You have been brought here so I can show you many things. Then you will return to the people of Israel and tell them everything you have seen.” [Ezekiel 40:4 (NLT)]

New Testament Prophets

¹⁶"Now get to your feet! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. Tell people that you have seen me, and tell them what I will show you in the future ¹⁷And I will rescue you from both your own people and the Gentiles. Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles ¹⁸to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me." [Acts 26:16-18 (NLT)]

Moreover,

You must give them my messages whether they listen or not. But they won’t listen, for they are completely rebellious! [Ezekiel 2:7 (NLT)]

But God, I will appear to be demonic, and people will call me crazy because it'll look like I'm talking to myself.

Yes, I call myself a prophetess. Why would I treat God's gift and calling dismissively or with irreverence? Just as God predestined Jeremiah, He predestined me. But, unfortunately, regarding accusation, not much has changed for God’s messengers since the days of Jeremiah. We are still accused...

```markdown I will say it until it begins to take root: PROPHECY and PREACHING the gospel are two very different things, with two very different set of instructions. The Old Testament book of Ezekiel provides excellent example of God's instructions for a prophetic calling. When prophesying to a...
