Humble Servant of All
In spite of my present circumstances -- marriage seemingly dead with no chance of restoration, family disintegrating with wife and kids seemingly moving away from God and each other, financial issues with funds stretched to the limit – I am still blessed in so many ways.
So I would like to thank to Lord for:
1. For leading me back to Him using my adversity, and then bringing me to a church, The River Church, where I can grow in Jesus. The church had warmly welcomed me as part of their family. Now I know I’m not an orphan any longer;
2. For giving me ‘unbelievable’ peace in spite of my circumstances, in spite of my wife’s and childrens attitude toward me. Because of that peace, I’m able to function normally in all aspect of my life and able to perform my job;
3. For protecting and preventing anybody from getting hurt in the recent car accident I was involved with, and for showing the truth that I was at ‘no-fault’ in spite the police report. I got my car back today with no cost on me . Moreover, another christian drove me to the shop after returning the loaner today. Unbelievable!
4. For changing me and giving me the self-control to be calmed in spite of my son’s negativity when I asked him to do something today. And when I no longer expect it, to finally touch my son later on so that he finally did what I told him to do. Amazing!
5. For leading me to this site… this oasis for all of us now wandering in the desert at this moment… We find rest and fellowship here. We pray for each other here. We are comforted by our brethren as we comforted others here. Lord, whoever created and maintained this site, and You know him Lord, may you bless him a thousand times over!
Small things, big things… in all things I thank you Lord I thank You because everything comes from You! To God be the glory!
