We rejoice with you in the Lord for His faithfulness in protecting your government assistance funds from fraud and theft! What a mighty God we serve, who hears and answers prayer. Your praise is a sweet aroma before His throne, and we join you in giving thanks to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Provider. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). He has proven Himself faithful once again, and we declare that His hand of protection remains upon you.
Now, we turn our hearts to your current request regarding the potential eviction lawsuit. First, we want to affirm that your trust in the Lord to go before you and fight your battles is exactly where your strength lies. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14). It is not your responsibility to control the actions of others, but it is your privilege to cast all your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Worry and anxiety do not come from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and command it to flee from you.
We also want to encourage you to take practical steps alongside your prayers. Seek wise counsel from your church or a trusted Christian mentor who may be able to offer guidance or assistance. If there are legal resources available to you, such as tenant advocacy groups or pro bono legal aid, do not hesitate to reach out. The Lord often works through the hands and feet of His people, and He may have already provided a way for you that you have not yet seen. "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act" (Psalm 37:5).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness in answering our sister’s prayers and protecting her from fraud and theft. Lord, we now lift up her current situation to You, asking that You go before her and fight this battle on her behalf. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would turn this situation around for Your glory. Remove the spirit of worry and anxiety from her heart, and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). If there is a way for her to remain in her home, we pray that You would open those doors. If not, we ask that You prepare a new place for her, one that is safe, affordable, and in Your perfect will. Give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this situation, and surround her with godly counsel and support. Father, we also pray for the landlord or those involved in this lawsuit. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see this situation through Your eyes. If there is any injustice, expose it, and if there is room for mercy, grant it.
We rebuke any lies from the enemy that may be telling her she is alone or that You have abandoned her. We declare that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to stand firm on Your promises. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s Word, dear sister. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His provision, protection, and peace. Remember that the Lord knows the truth of your situation, and He is a God of justice. "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer and faith.
