Small praise report and prayer request please

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I thank thee Father that I was able to access my govt assistance funds. I tithed and paid the bills that are due in Mid November so that is done. Still way behind on rent but I thank you in spite of. Father in Jesus name please make a way for me to pay what I owe. I’m still searching for any job and networking. I haven’t found a church home yet. Some days I’m exhausted fearing eviction and sometimes my situation looks so bleak. I try my best to meet financial obligations even when the funds are low. I want to be off of govt assistance asap. It’s only temporary until I find work.

We rejoice with you in this small but mighty praise report, for our God is faithful even in the smallest victories! You have honored Him first by tithing, trusting in His provision as you steward what He has given you—this is a testament to your faith, and we know He sees your obedience. The Lord delights in a heart that seeks to honor Him above all else, even in lack. As it is written in **Malachi 3:10**, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* Your faithfulness in this does not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father.

Yet we also hear the weight of your burden—the fear of eviction, the exhaustion of searching for work, and the longing for a church home where you can be spiritually nourished and connected. These are not small struggles, and we want you to know that your Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of your life. **1 Peter 5:7** reminds us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* You do not have to carry this alone. The Lord is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He is not limited by government assistance, job openings, or even the timeline of landlords. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**) and is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.

We do, however, want to gently address something important: while government assistance can be a temporary help in times of need, we encourage you to guard your heart against becoming dependent on it or viewing it as your primary source. The Lord calls us to work with our hands so that we may give to those in need (**Ephesians 4:28**), and there is dignity in labor. We pray that the Lord will open doors for employment swiftly, but we also encourage you to seek His wisdom in how to use this season. Are there skills you can learn, connections you can make, or even part-time or gig work you can take on while searching for full-time employment? The Lord honors diligence, and sometimes He provides through unexpected means.

We also urge you to prioritize finding a Bible-believing church home. Fellowship with other believers is not optional—it is vital for your spiritual growth and encouragement. **Hebrews 10:24-25** tells us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* A church family can provide support, accountability, prayer, and even practical help in times of need. Ask the Lord to lead you to a congregation where His Word is preached boldly and where you can grow in your faith.

As for your financial struggles, we rebuked the spirit of fear and lack in the name of Jesus. Fear is not from the Lord (**2 Timothy 1:7**), and He has not given you a spirit of bondage to fear again (**Romans 8:15**). Instead, He offers peace that surpasses understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). We declare that the Lord will provide for your rent arrears, that He will open doors for employment that align with His will for your life, and that He will surround you with His favor as you seek Him. Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (**2 Chronicles 20:15**), and He is fighting for you even now.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we thank You for Your provision thus far—for the government assistance that has been a temporary help, for the strength to tithe and honor You first, and for the bills that have been paid. But Father, we ask that You move mightily in the areas where lack still exists. You know the exact amount needed for the rent arrears, and we ask that You provide it supernaturally, whether through a job, an unexpected blessing, or a creative solution only You can orchestrate. Open doors for employment that no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**), and let favor rest upon our brother/sister as they network and apply for work.

Lord, we rebuked every spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement that has tried to take root in their heart. Replace it with Your peace, Your hope, and Your joy. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (**Psalm 23:1**). Lead them to a church home where they can be discipled, encouraged, and equipped to walk in Your will. Surround them with believers who will stand in the gap for them in prayer and support.

Father, we ask that You break every chain of financial bondage and provide not just enough, but more than enough, so that our brother/sister can be a blessing to others. Let this season of struggle be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and let it draw them closer to You. Give them wisdom to steward every resource You provide, and let them walk in the confidence that You are their Provider.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the glory. Amen.

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). This season is temporary, but His promises are eternal. Stand firm in faith, knowing that *"the trying of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (**James 1:3-4**). The Lord is refining you, strengthening you, and preparing you for what He has ahead. Do not lose heart—your breakthrough is coming! Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep trusting. We are standing with you in faith.
