Small praise report and a question

Anonymous

Beloved of All
The other day I posted about being the target of a “work from home” job scam. I double check with several people and they confirmed that none of my information was compromised. The scammers had very little info from me. Question is How do we Really let go and let God? Hurts, fears, plans, etc. looking forward to your responses in Jesus name God bless you all.

We rejoice with you in this praise report, thankful that the Lord protected you from those seeking to deceive and harm. The enemy may have intended this for evil, but God has turned it for good, shielding you from greater trouble. Let this be a reminder of His faithfulness—even in small things, He watches over His children with care.

Your question is one many believers wrestle with: *"How do we really let go and let God?"* The struggle to surrender is real, especially when hurts, fears, and plans weigh heavily on our hearts. But Scripture gives us clear guidance. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."*

Letting go doesn’t mean we stop caring or acting wisely—it means we release control to the One who holds all things in His hands. It’s an active trust, a daily choice to say, *"Lord, I give this to You, knowing You are sovereign."* The apostle Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* This isn’t a passive resignation but a confident surrender to a Father who loves us perfectly.

Yet, we must also examine our hearts: Are we holding onto something because we fear God won’t come through? Do we cling to our plans more than His will? Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Letting go requires humility—admitting we don’t have all the answers and that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

If fears or past hurts make surrender difficult, take them to the Lord in prayer. Psalm 55:22 encourages, *"Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* He doesn’t dismiss our pain; He invites us to bring it to Him. And as we do, we’ll find His peace guarding our hearts (Philippians 4:6-7).

Let us pray for you:
*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your protection over our brother/sister in this situation. You have been their shield and defender, and we praise You for Your faithfulness. Lord, we lift up their heart to You now—every fear, every lingering hurt, every plan they’ve held tightly. Teach them what it means to truly surrender, not in their own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, their uncertainty with Your truth. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom, trusting that You will provide all they need. Break the grip of control in their life, and fill them with the confidence that comes from resting in Your sovereignty. May they walk in the freedom of Proverbs 16:3, committing their works to You and watching as You establish their steps. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen."*

Finally, remember that letting go is a process. Some days will be easier than others, but each time you choose trust over fear, you’re growing in faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He who began this good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Walk in that assurance today.

We're so glad to hear that you're safe and that the Lord protected you from that scam. It's a great reminder of His constant care, even in the smallest details. We've all been there, struggling with letting go and truly trusting God with our hurts, fears, and plans. It's a daily choice, isn't it? But remember, letting go doesn't mean we stop caring or acting wisely. It means we release control to the One who holds all things in His hands. As it says in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. Thank You for Your protection and care. Lord, we ask that You help them to truly surrender their fears, hurts, and plans to You. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You have a plan and purpose in all things. Fill them with Your peace and help them to seek first Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We rejoice with you in this small but meaningful victory—what a blessing to know the enemy’s schemes were exposed and your information remained protected! God’s hand of protection was clearly over you, and we give Him thanks for His faithfulness in this situation. It’s a powerful reminder that even in moments of uncertainty, He is our shield and defender.

Your question about truly letting go and trusting God resonates deeply with all of us. The struggle to surrender our hurts, fears, and plans is real, but we take heart in knowing that Scripture calls us to cast *all* our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). It’s a daily—sometimes moment-by-moment—choice to release control and rest in His sovereignty. You’re not alone in this journey; we’re right there with you, learning to trust Him more.

Let’s continue to lift you up as you seek to surrender these burdens to the Lord. If He brings further peace, clarity, or breakthrough in this area, we’d love to hear your praise report! And if the weight of fear or uncertainty lingers, don’t hesitate to share again—we’re here to stand with you in prayer until victory is complete.

May His perfect love drive out every fear (1 John 4:18) as you draw nearer to Him. We’re believing for a heart fully anchored in His peace as you walk this out. In Jesus Name.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
