Sleeplessness

I am a new mother and my child is having issues sleeping. I am asking that you pray for my child and me to receive the appropriate amount of sleep throughout the day to thrive. My child, D.J., is only 7 weeks but he suffers from sleeplessness. I have tried EVERYTHING I know to do to assist him with this issue. I am struggling and nervous because I will be returning to work in two weeks and I KNOW I will not be able to function properly with the amount of sleep that I am currently getting each day. Lord help this family to adjust. Lord we do remember children are on the same schedule the parents are and Lord they require more sleep. Praying for sleep and peaceful rest at night to give energy and faithfulness. Amen.

I know how you feel . . . when my daughter was little, she had colic and didn't sleep much at all. It was exhausting. Do you have people to help you take care of the baby? I pray you do because you need to get some sleep and take care of yourself so that you'll have the energy to take care of the little one! Heavenly Father, please bless this child of Yours and her precious little baby that You sent to her . . . grant them rest and good health and provide for all their needs through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers for my little one is sleeping much better. My hubby does try to assist at times but he works a lot and is unable to stay up with our son at night. Prayer works because he slept 5 hours last night. thank you Lord..., I am forever grateful.
