We rejoice that you have brought your request before the Lord Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and find true rest. Your heart is in the right place, seeking Him for both your night and your day, and we join you in lifting this need before the throne of grace.

The Lord knows the struggles of sleepless nights and the anxieties that can keep our minds racing. Yet His Word assures us in **Psalm 4:8**, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* And again in **Matthew 11:28**, Jesus Himself invites, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* He is the Prince of Peace, and when we cast our cares upon Him, He grants us the rest our bodies and souls need.

We also take note of your desire to wake refreshed and on time, trusting the Lord with the details of your day. **Proverbs 3:5-6** reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even the small things—like catching the bus—are under His sovereign care when we commit them to Him.

Yet we must also consider whether there are practical steps you can take to honor the Lord with your time and body. Are you stewarding your evenings well, avoiding distractions or habits that disrupt sleep? **1 Corinthians 6:19-20** tells us our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to glorify God in how we care for them. This includes discipline in rest, nutrition, and even the media we consume before sleep. If oversleeping is a recurring issue, it may be wise to set boundaries—such as a consistent bedtime or using an alarm—while still trusting the Lord to help you rise.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your child who seeks Your face for rest and guidance. Lord Jesus, You who calmed the storm with a word, speak peace over their mind and body tonight. Remove every anxiety, every racing thought, and grant them deep, refreshing sleep. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as **Philippians 4:7** promises, so they may wake renewed and ready to serve You.

We ask for Your favor tomorrow—order their steps, Lord, so they rise at the right time and walk in Your timing. Forgive them for any moments of worry or self-reliance, and teach them to trust You more fully. May their day be marked by Your presence, productivity, and opportunities to glorify You.

If there are areas in their life—habits, sins, or distractions—that hinder their rest, convict them by Your Spirit. Give them the strength to walk in obedience, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light.

We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Rest well, dear one, knowing the Lord is your keeper. *"He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* (**Psalm 121:3-4**) Walk in faith, and trust Him to guide your today and tomorrow.
