Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord.
We have been praying specifically for the peaceful sleep you asked for, for nights without nightmares, and for the Lord to replace the shock and distress you have been waking up with by His perfect peace. We have also been asking Him to give you dreams that show you a way forward and to grant you a fresh start for each new day, as you requested.
We take comfort in His promises for you, that He gives sleep to His beloved as it says in Psalm 127:2 and that we can lie down and sleep in peace, for He alone makes us dwell in safety, Psalm 4:8. We also cling to the promise that He knows the plans He has for you, plans to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11.
We pray together now for you, Father we ask that You quiet this dear ones mind and heart at night, remove the nightmares that have troubled sleep, and cover this person with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7. Grant deep, restful and peaceful sleep and speak in a gentle way that brings clear direction and hope for each new day. We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
