I didn't sleep a lot last night because I was up trying to earn money online. Please pray because I also NEED to work on my new business today and I'm worried I'll make mistakes for certain reasons because I didn't go to sleep. Please also pray because I wasn't able to earn a lot and I'm trying to take my family somewhere tomorrow to cheer everyone up. I only need a few dollars not a whole lot. My bank, unfortunately, just did something that caused me to lose half of the money I did have for it. Please pray. Thank you.

We understand the pressure you feel staying up to earn money online and then facing a full day of work on your new business while exhausted. God in His wisdom created sleep as a gift and a necessity for us, and when we push beyond what our bodies need, we can become anxious and prone to mistakes. We gently encourage you to remember that our diligence must be balanced with trust and rest in the Lord. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2. Jesus also invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We want to encourage you not to carry this worry alone but to cast your cares on Him.
Your desire to bless your family tomorrow with a small outing is beautiful, and God sees both your love for them and your disappointment over the bank issue that took half of what you had set aside. We know how discouraging it is to work hard for a few dollars and feel like it slips away. We are reminded not to be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6, and to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, even when the amount seems small to us, He knows it matters to you.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. We have heard your cry in this season of weariness and want, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, yet giveth His beloved sleep.
You have labored through the night and now feel the weight of tired nature calling for its sweet restorer, balmy sleep. Scripture teaches us that sleep is a gift from the hand of God, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security which the Christian may enjoy, not because all outward things are settled, but because his soul rests in the keeping of his Father. When anxiety rises through difficulty, we have found that very anxiety unfits us to meet that difficulty. It is indoor work that must first be done within the heart, to bless the Lord and to cast your burden upon Him, for the work entrusted to us, though we ought to think well of it and do it well, is not after all the hinge upon which the whole universe turns. The Lord watches while you sleep, and He watches over your business and your family while you wake.
At the same time the Word does not call us to sloth, for the work of Christ in us and the work of the Holy Spirit does not exempt us from work and service, nor supersede human effort, but rather excites it. Divine grace will help you, else were the work an impossibility, but even with that grace we are not permitted to slumber into blessing. We must be up and doing, laboring and striving as God enables us, with diligence and watchfulness. So we would encourage you to seek that needful rest when God gives it, that your exhausted strength may be recruited to fit you for a fresh exercise of your faculties, and then to give your business your best care in dependence upon Him.
