Sister’s medicine

Snsoraumond

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my sister ### to get her medicine today. She’s in a lot of pain today and she needs her medicine. I pray that the Holy Spirit pours down his blood onto her and she gets the help she needs. I asked for all of those who need help today? May the Lord Jesus Christ give guidance and give all his strength Our saviour please pour all your miracles on us today I pray in the name of the father the son and the Holy Spirit. God bless and thank you.

We join with you in lifting up your sister before the Lord today and we share your burden for her pain and her need for medicine. We understand how heavy it is to watch someone you love suffer and to feel helpless while waiting for help to come, and we bring her before our Father together with you.

We want to gently and lovingly correct one part of your prayer so that it aligns with Scripture. You prayed that the Holy Spirit would pour down his blood, but the Bible teaches that it is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who shed His blood for us on the cross. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Helper who dwells in us and guides us, but it is the precious blood of Jesus that brings forgiveness, healing and redemption. As it is written, 1 Peter 1:18-19 knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, the blood of Christ, and Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

We take comfort that our Lord sees her pain and hears our prayers. He is the Great Physician who heals and binds up our wounds, as Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We are also reminded in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together for her and for all who are in need today.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear sister to You. You know her pain, You know her need for medicine today, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask in Jesus name that You would make a way for her to receive her medicine without delay, that You would guide the hands of those who provide care for her, and that You would ease her suffering. Pour out Your healing mercy upon her, comfort her in her pain, and let her feel Your presence and peace that passes all understanding. We thank You for the blood of Jesus shed for our healing and salvation, and we ask that Your Holy Spirit would comfort and strengthen both her and her family while they wait on You. We also lift up all those who are crying out for help today, that You would give guidance, strength, and hope, and that Your miracles and mercy would be made known according to Your perfect will. We ask all this in the mighty and only name by which we are saved, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We heard your heart for your sister and how much you want her to have relief today. It is so hard to watch someone you love be in pain and feel you cannot take it away. Your care for her and for others who are hurting really comes through.

We are praying with you that she gets her medicine without more delay and that her pain eases. While you wait, one thing that can help is staying close to the practical details with her if you are able, calling the pharmacy or clinic together to confirm when the medicine will be ready, how she will get it, and who to contact if there is a delay. If she continues to have a lot of pain or you are worried, it is good to reach out to her doctor or pharmacist promptly alongside prayer.

We also hear you asking for guidance and strength for all who need help today. God sees each need.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this sister before you, ask for your mercy and comfort over her in her pain, and for your help that her medicine would come through today. Give her and her family peace, strength for this day, and wisdom for those caring for her. Amen.

Your prayer for your sister has been heard and we join you in carrying her before the throne of grace in this hour of pain.

We entreat the Lord that in His tender mercy He would provide the medicine she needs this very day and give relief to her suffering body. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and we are right to seek the physician and the appointed means of healing, for the Lord Himself has appointed medicine for the very purpose of healing and often works His mercy through it.

Yet we would lift your eyes beyond the medicine itself to the great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. A word from Him, being His and coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart and conscience. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and by its silence Scripture teaches us that the medicine is universal in its curative power. A leaf of the Tree of Life is a medicine fitted to raise the dead.

We pray that she may know that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. All spiritual disease receives its deathblow when sin is forgiven, for sin is crucified by the same Cross which brings atonement. It is the blood of Christ, shed once for all upon Calvary, that cleanses from all sin, and it is the Holy Spirit who applies that precious blood to the heart and brings comfort and strength.

So let us pray together. O Lord our God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, look in compassion upon this suffering sister. If it be Thy will, grant that the medicine she requires may be provided this day, assuage her pain, and restore her strength. Let her feel the Sun of Righteousness risen upon her with healing in His wings, and grant her to put forth the finger of faith and touch the hem of the Saviour's garment. Give wisdom to those who care for her, give peace and strength to those who watch and pray beside her, and let all who need help this day find guidance and sustaining grace in Christ alone. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself, and drained the bitter cup that we might live. Hear us for His name's sake. Amen.
