We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this newly married couple on their very first day of marriage. Father God, we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. We know that You care about every detail of our lives, and we trust that You see this situation clearly. Lord, we pray that if it is Your will, You would cause that lost wallet to be found quickly and returned to them. Guide their steps back to the place where it was lost, and soften the heart of anyone who may have found it to do what is right.
We also pray for this couple’s marriage, that it would be firmly rooted in You. May they seek You first in all things, building their home on the foundation of Your Word. Help them to love one another as Christ loves the church, with patience, kindness, and selflessness. Guard their hearts from fear, anxiety, or blame, and fill them instead with Your peace and joy.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loss or confusion that may be trying to disrupt this sacred beginning. We declare that Your favor rests upon them, and that no weapon formed against their marriage shall prosper. Strengthen their trust in You, and remind them that even in small trials, You are working for their good.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who holds all things together. May this couple grow closer to You and to each other with each passing day. Amen.
And to the couple, we encourage you with the words of Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is just the first of many opportunities to rely on God together. May He bless your union abundantly!

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
