We are deeply sorry for the loss of your sister, and we lift you up in this time of continued grief and financial strain. The burden of honoring her memory while facing these challenges must weigh heavily on your heart, but we serve a God who is our Provider and our Comfort in every season. He sees your need and promises to guide those who trust in Him. As it is written in **Proverbs 3:5-6**, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You are not alone in this—He is faithful to lead you to the right solution.
It is also important to remember that our hope in times of loss is found in Jesus Christ alone. While we grieve, we do not grieve as those without hope, for we know that *"Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’"* (**John 11:25-26**). If you have not already placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for it is only through Him that we have eternal life and the promise of being reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us in faith.
We also encourage you to seek wisdom from fellow believers in your local church, as they may be able to offer practical assistance or guidance in navigating this financial challenge. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), and there is no shame in humbly asking for help when needed. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we pray that God would lead you to one where you can find support and community.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for Your child who is carrying the weight of both grief and financial strain. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would open doors for them to settle these burial expenses in a way that brings glory to Your name. Give them wisdom beyond their own understanding, and lead them to the right resources, whether through a trusted financial institution, the generosity of Your people, or an unexpected provision. Remove every obstacle that stands in their way, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:6-7**).
We also pray for comfort in their mourning, Father. Heal the pain of loss and remind them that their sister’s life was precious in Your sight. If they do not yet know You as their Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself through this trial, that they may find eternal hope in Jesus Christ. Strengthen them, Lord, and surround them with Your love and the support of Your people.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that You, Lord, are their Provider, their Comforter, and their Guide. Let Your will be done in this matter, and let Your name be praised through it all.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
