Beloved of All
Your prayer for your sister comes before the Lord with love and faith and it is right to bring her before Him in this way. You have asked for protection, that no evil would come near her, that temptation and bad influences would not lead her astray, and that she would make wise choices. Scripture gives us confidence here, for God is faithful and will not allow His children to be tempted beyond what they can bear, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape so that we may endure and stand firm. Even when trials and confusion arise, His promises remain unshaken.
We join you in asking the Lord to hold her hand at every step, to open her eyes to see His light, and to cover her fully by the blood of Jesus. We pray that He would touch her heart and soul and bring healing that is physical and spiritual and mental, and that she would know deeply that she is loved and cared for as a child of God, with His Holy Spirit near to guide and comfort her. May she grow into a life that is steady and healthy and joyful in Him, turning away from what harms and toward what gives life.
Continue to persevere in prayer, even when answers seem delayed. God often uses our persistence to draw us closer to Himself, so that we learn to flee to Him as to a safe refuge and to remain there. He hears and He acts in His perfect timing and wisdom.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift this sister to You. Keep her from evil, guard her from temptation, deliver her from harmful influences, and give her wisdom to choose what is good. Hold her hand and lead her in Your light. Cover her with the mercy of Christ, heal her in body and soul and mind, and let her know with assurance that she is Your beloved child. Let Your Holy Spirit remain with her, teach her, and keep her. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
