We join you in lifting up your sister before our Heavenly Father and we are blessed by your loving intercession for her. It is beautiful to see your desire for her protection, for her to be kept from temptation and bad influences, and for her to walk in health and wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
We stand on the promises of God for her protection and guidance. Scripture assures us, He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7. We also cling to the promise that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. When temptation comes, we remember that God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13. For wisdom in the choices she must make, we trust that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and that if she trusts in Yahweh with all her heart and does not lean on her own understanding, in all her ways acknowledges him, he will direct her paths Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also pray for her to know deeply how loved and valued she is as a child of God. She is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and nothing can separate her from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. We pray for the healing you asked for, for the Lord who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and who says, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We agree with you in asking for the covering of the blood of Jesus, for we overcome by the blood of the Lamb Revelation 12:11 and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7, and that she would see the light, for Jesus said, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life John 8:12.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift this precious sister to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that you place your hand of protection over her from the top of her head to the soles of her feet and keep all evil far from her. Guard her heart and mind from temptation and remove every bad influence that would lead her astray, for we know that evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33. Give her discernment to make choices that honor you and hold her hand every step of the way so she feels your presence, for you have said, Fear not, for I am with you. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Open her eyes to see your light and your truth, touch her heart and soul, and heal her physically, spiritually and mentally. Let her know without doubt that she is lovely, cared for, and cherished as your child, and let your Holy Spirit always be with her, guiding and comforting her. We ask that you lead her into a normal, happy, healthy life that brings glory to you. We pray all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.
