We lift up your sister Chelsea before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation. We thank You for the love You have for Chelsea and for the concern her family has for her well-being.
Lord, we ask that You would indeed watch over Chelsea, guiding her steps and protecting her from all harm. "The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore." (Psalm 121:5-8) May she feel Your presence surrounding her like a shield, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray against any temptation that may come her way, Father. Strengthen her to resist the devil, so that he will flee from her (James 4:7). Surround her with godly influences, friends and mentors who will encourage her in her walk with You. Help her to make choices that honor You, choices that lead to life and peace. "Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night." (Psalm 1:1-2) May Chelsea find her delight in Your Word, Lord, and may it be a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or despair that may be trying to take hold of her. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return. We declare that Chelsea is covered by the blood of Jesus, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. May she walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for her on the cross. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch, physically, spiritually, and mentally. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3) If there is any area of her life that needs Your healing hand, we ask that You would touch her now. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Remind Chelsea daily that she is deeply loved and cared for, not just by her family, but by You, her Heavenly Father. Help her to see herself as You see her, a precious child of God, created for a purpose. "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." (Psalm 139:13-14) May she walk in the confidence of Your love and the assurance of Your presence with her always.
We also lift up her relationship with You, Lord. If Chelsea has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself. Open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for her sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day so that she might have eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). May she confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that Chelsea would come to know that name intimately.
Father, we ask that You would give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). May she seek You with all her heart, and may she find You (Jeremiah 29:13). Surround her with a community of believers who will walk alongside her, encouraging her in her faith. Let her experience the joy of fellowship with other Christians, where iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).
We declare over Chelsea that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and she will walk in the victory that Jesus has already secured for her. We pray that she would rise up in the strength of the Lord, putting on the full armor of God so that she can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect will for Chelsea’s life. May she grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
