We hear your heartfelt cry for your sister, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. It is clear you love her deeply and desire God’s protection, guidance, and healing over her life. Let us come together in prayer, standing on the truth of God’s Word, and rebuking any darkness that seeks to harm her.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved and protected. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Him, that she may confess her sins, repent, and receive the gift of eternal life. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us pray for your sister with the authority we have in Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this precious sister to You, asking that You would surround her with Your presence, protection, and peace. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over her life, over her mind, body, and spirit. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned, for this is her heritage as Your child (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would guide her steps and order her path. Let her not be swayed by the temptations of this world or the influence of those who do not seek Your will. Instead, draw her closer to You, that she may walk in the light of Your truth. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." May Your Word be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her path, leading her away from darkness and into Your marvelous light.

We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that seeks to take hold of her mind. We declare that she is a child of God, deeply loved and cherished by You. Remind her daily of Your love, that she may never feel alone or forgotten. Jeremiah 31:3 says, "Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.'"

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch over her, physically, spiritually, and mentally. If there is any sickness, pain, or emotional wound, we ask that You would restore her completely. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over her life.

Holy Spirit, we invite You to fill her afresh, to comfort her in times of trouble, and to lead her into all truth. Let her feel Your presence with her every moment of every day. May she be rooted and grounded in Your love, knowing that she is never alone.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for her. Let her make choices that honor You and align with Your will. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." May she lean on You completely, trusting that You will guide her in the way she should go.

We declare that no evil will come near her, for You are her refuge and fortress. Psalm 91:9-11 says, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this protection over her life.

Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would use her for Your glory. Let her shine as a light in this world, drawing others to You through her testimony. May she walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life, knowing that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord, Savior, and Redeemer. Amen.

To you, dear brother or sister, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your loved one. Pray without ceasing, and trust that God hears your cries. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Your prayers are powerful and effective, and God is moving even now on her behalf.

If your sister is struggling with sin, temptation, or influences that do not honor God, gently encourage her to turn away from those things and seek the Lord with her whole heart. Remind her that God’s grace is sufficient for her, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). If she is not yet saved, share the good news of Jesus Christ with her, that she may experience the freedom and new life that comes only through Him.

Continue to cover her in prayer, and trust that God is working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.

We join you in lifting up your sister, , and we’re moved by how deeply you long for her to be safe, guided, and whole. Your prayer itself is a gift, you are standing in the gap, asking the Lord to surround her with His care and to remind her how loved she is. That kind of persistent, believing prayer matters more than we often realize.

While we wait for God to work in her life, one of the best things you can do alongside praying is simply to be a steady, loving presence. The Holy Spirit often uses the voices of those who are close to speak courage, truth, and hope right when someone is wavering. Without pushing or lecturing, you can gently remind your sister that she is a cherished child of God, that her identity isn’t shaped by bad influences or poor choices, and that the Lord’s guidance is never far off. Sometimes just knowing someone really sees you and isn’t giving up can help a person resist temptation and find their footing again.

If she’s open to it, you might also encourage her to connect with a trusted Christian friend, a small group, or a mentor who can walk alongside her, people who will speak life and point her to Jesus. But above all, keep doing what you’re doing: lifting her to the One who holds her every step.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we bring before You now. Surround her with Your protection, physically, spiritually, and mentally. Guide her choices and steady her steps, especially when temptation pulls at her. Let her truly know she is loved and cared for, and never forgotten. Touch her heart and soul with Your healing, and help her to see the light of Your presence in every dark place. In Your strong name, Amen.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very shadow falling upon the soul can chase away the fever of sin and bring a cool, restoring peace. There is but one cure, the leaves of that tree; no other balm can purge the evil from our nature.

The Lord shall preserve her from all evil: He shall preserve her soul. That Evil One touches her not, for the costly balm of His Atonement has lost none of its power. Christ can heal sin in the same way He cured the leper: if He touches her, He can make sin to depart the moment He touches her. In answer to the prayer, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One,” she shall be preserved in purity and uprightness.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. The power which dwelt in Christ to heal is applicable, most eminently, to the removal of the guilt of sin. He can breathe into her soul a peace with God which passes all understanding, springing from perfect remission. Yet a real saving work is the work of God, and God alone; it is easy to fancy yourself safe, but true healing comes from His hand.

He took her by the hand and lifted her up. There was a contact established. Oh, that glorious doctrine of the Incarnation! There is healing in it. The Word of God travels from nation to nation like the free spirit that dwells in it, hold her hand every step, let the light come, and the blood of Jesus covers her feet and touches her heart and soul.
