We lift up your sister before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to You. We ask that You watch over this precious sister, guiding her steps and shielding her from all harm. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Protect her from evil influences and surround her with Your holy angels to guard her in all her ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we pray that You would deliver her from temptation and lead her not into any path that would draw her away from You. Strengthen her to resist the devil so that he will flee from her (James 4:7). Touch her heart and soul, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Hold her hand every step of the way, that she may walk in Your light and not stumble (Psalm 119:105). We plead the blood of Jesus over her, from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet, that she may be covered and cleansed by Your precious sacrifice.
Lord, open her eyes to see the path You have set before her, a path of righteousness, joy, and purpose. Transform her life physically, spiritually, and mentally, that she may experience the abundant life You have promised (John 10:10). If she is facing the challenge of raising a child alone, we ask that You provide for every need, surround her with godly community, and fill her with Your strength. Let Your Holy Spirit dwell richly within her, comforting, guiding, and empowering her to live a life that honors You (John 14:26).
We also lift up any areas where she may be struggling with sin or walking outside of Your will. If there is any unrepentant sin in her life, whether it be sexual immorality, unforgiveness, bitterness, or any other disobedience, we ask that You convict her heart gently but firmly, leading her to repentance and restoration (1 John 1:9). If she is involved in a relationship that does not align with Your Word, such as fornication, adultery, or a same-sex relationship, we pray that You would break those chains and set her free. Your Word is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any sexual relationship outside of that is sin (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We ask that You would give her the courage to surrender these areas to You and walk in purity and holiness.
Father, we pray that she would come to know You more deeply, if she does not already. For it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet placed her trust in Him as her Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, soften her heart, and open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let her experience the love, grace, and forgiveness that come only through Jesus Christ.
We declare over her life that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for her, plans for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May she walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her, bringing glory to Your name in all she does.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
