We lift up your sister before the throne of grace, interceding on her behalf with hearts full of love and concern. Father God, we ask that You indeed watch over her as the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one. Protect her, Lord, from every snare of the enemy and surround her with Your hedge of protection. May no evil find a place in her life, and may she be shielded from all ungodly influences that seek to draw her away from Your perfect will.
We pray that You would guide her steps and direct her paths, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, help her to make choices that honor You, choices that lead to life, peace, and righteousness. Open her eyes to see the truth and her heart to receive Your wisdom, that she may walk in the light of Your Word.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, rebellion, and worldly influence that may be at work in her life. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’" We ask that You would bring godly friends and mentors into her life, believers who will encourage her in her faith and hold her accountable to Your standards. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, so that she is never alone, for You have promised in Hebrews 13:5, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
We also pray for her healing, physically, spiritually, and mentally. Touch her with Your healing power, Lord, and restore her to wholeness. Let her know deep in her soul that she is loved, valued, and cherished as Your child. Remind her daily of Your faithfulness and the truth of Your Word, which says in Zephaniah 3:17, "Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over her life, covering her from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. Let the power of the cross break every chain and stronghold that seeks to bind her. Fill her with the Holy Spirit, that she may walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life. May she experience the joy, peace, and abundant life that You have promised to those who follow You.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that our prayers and intercession are made powerful through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we receive salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to Himself, that she may confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, as Romans 10:9 declares.
We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. May your sister come to know the depth of God’s love for her and walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for her. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
