We lift up your sister before the throne of grace with heavy and loving hearts, interceding on her behalf in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is clear that your love for her runs deep, and we join you in fervent prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to move powerfully in her life.
Father God, we come before You as Your Word instructs in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We declare that Your eyes are indeed upon her and Your ears open to our cry. We ask that You guide her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake, as it is written in Psalm 23:3, "He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." Let her not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers, but let her delight be in Your law, meditating on it day and night, as Psalm 1:1-2 declares.
Lord, we rebuke every evil influence and every spirit of temptation that seeks to draw her away from You. Your Word is clear in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that You would make the way of escape known to her in every moment of trial, and that she would have the strength and wisdom to take it. Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, and leaders who will speak truth into her life and reflect Your love and holiness.
We plead the blood of Jesus over her, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, as You have promised in Revelation 12:11, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony." Let the power of the blood of Christ cleanse her from all unrighteousness, heal her wounds, and protect her from every scheme of the enemy. Touch her heart and soul, Lord, and draw her into a deep and personal relationship with You. May she know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love, as Ephesians 3:18-19 describes, "that you may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Father, we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her physically, spiritually, and mentally. Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We declare wholeness over her body, mind, and spirit. Open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the reality of Your presence in her life. Let her see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, as 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us. Transform her from glory to glory by the renewing of her mind, that she may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
We pray that You would give her the desire and ability to make choices that honor You, leading to a life that is normal, happy, and healthy by Your standards. May she walk in the fullness of joy that comes from knowing You, as Psalm 16:11 declares, "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore." Let her experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also lift up the concern that she may not yet know You as her personal Lord and Savior. We pray that if she has not surrendered her life to Christ, that You would draw her to Yourself with cords of loving kindness. Your Word says in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in powerful and unmistakable ways, that she may come to know the truth that sets her free (John 8:32). Let her confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, rebellion, and deception that may be at work in her life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every lying spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her into all truth (John 16:13).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would strengthen her faith and give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness. May she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to her (Matthew 6:33). Let her walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May her life be a testimony to Your grace and power, drawing others to You.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer them according to Your will. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
