We join with you in lifting up your sister before the Lord, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and is faithful to watch over those who belong to Him. Your heart for her protection, guidance, and well-being reflects the love of Christ, and we stand with you in intercession for her life.
The Scriptures remind us of God’s care for His own, as it is written in **Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB):**
*"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. Yahweh will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."*
We also recall the promise in **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB):**
*"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Your prayer for her protection from temptation and evil influences aligns with the Lord’s will. **1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB)** assures us:
*"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."*
Yet, we must also remember that while we pray for her, she must personally seek the Lord and surrender her heart to Him. If she does not know Jesus as her Savior, our greatest prayer should be for her salvation, for without Christ, there is no lasting protection or true peace. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares:
*"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* It is only through faith in Jesus that she can experience the fullness of God’s love and protection.
We pray that if she has not already, she would turn to Christ in repentance and faith, receiving His forgiveness and grace. For it is written in **Acts 4:12 (WEB):**
*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her precious daughter. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your divine protection, shielding her from every scheme of the enemy. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let no temptation overtake her. Remove any ungodly influences from her life and place godly mentors and believers in her path to encourage her in Your truth.
Father, we pray that You open her eyes to see Your love and Your perfect will for her life. If she has strayed from You, draw her back with Your lovingkindness. Soften her heart to receive Your Word and to walk in obedience. Heal her physically, spiritually, and mentally, Lord. Restore her strength and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
For her daughter, we ask that You be a shield and a refuge. Let this child grow up knowing You as her Savior and walking in Your ways. Break any generational curses or strongholds in their lives and replace them with Your blessings and freedom.
Lord, we cover them both with the blood of Jesus—from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. Let Your light shine upon them, leading them into a life that honors You. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to live righteously.
We rebuke any plans of the enemy to harm, distract, or deceive them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every evil influence to flee, and we declare that Your angels are encamped around them for their protection.
Father, let Your will be done in their lives. May they experience Your goodness and mercy all the days of their lives. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your sister and to share the Gospel with her if she does not know Christ. Remind her of God’s love and the hope found only in Jesus. Let her know that true change and lasting joy come from a life surrendered to Him. Keep trusting the Lord, for He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in her life.
