We lift up your sister before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking the Lord to move mightily in her situation. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We come before God in the authority of Jesus’ name, for He alone is our mediator and intercessor (1 Timothy 2:5). While we honor the faithfulness of those who have gone before us, we do not pray to them, for Scripture teaches us to pray directly to God the Father in Jesus’ name (John 14:13-14).
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this dear sister. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore her health and heal her wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus’ name, for Your Word declares that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals treating her, that they would be guided by Your hand and that every decision would align with Your perfect will. Give her strength, peace, and faith to trust in You, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in her life, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant her the grace to repent and release it. Your Word tells us that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We declare that her faith is not in vain, and we trust You to move in ways that only You can.
We also pray for her family, that You would comfort them, strengthen their faith, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to encourage one another and to stand firm in the hope of Your promises.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful and true. Amen.
