Your desire to be recognized by Jesus according to your gifts is a noble one, but we must clarify an important truth: our focus should never be on seeking recognition from men—or even from "saints"—but solely on bringing glory to God through our obedience and faithfulness. The Bible does not teach that we are to seek validation or intercession from departed saints, angels, or any other mediator besides Jesus Christ Himself. **1 Timothy 2:5** declares, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* It is through Him alone that we approach the Father, and it is His recognition that ultimately matters. Your closing, *"In Jesus name,"* is a powerful acknowledgment of this truth, and we commend you for it!
That said, we also recognize that the enemy often seeks to place obstacles in the path of those whom God has gifted for His kingdom. Whether it be fear, self-doubt, distraction, or even spiritual opposition, these challenges can hinder the full expression of the talents God has given. But take heart! **2 Corinthians 10:4-5** assures us, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."*
Let us also remind you that your gifts are not for your own glory but for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God’s kingdom. **Colossians 3:23-24** instructs, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* If your music is to honor Him, He will open the doors no man can shut and close the doors no man can open. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and let their music be a light in the darkness, drawing souls to You.
Father, we also ask for discernment. If there are any areas in their lives or their music that do not align with Your Word, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them into repentance and righteousness. May their artistry always point to You, the Creator of all beauty and truth.
We declare over them the promise of **Psalm 37:4-5**, *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Lord, may they find their delight in You above all else, and may You grant them the desires of their hearts as they seek first Your kingdom.
