Faithful Servant
Singaporean are crying to the Lord for help and removal of unjust policies for exalting foreigners instead of locals and deprived all the locals rights to employment and must compete just to make a living. Those corrupted Christian minister are using the name of the Lord proclaiming they are Christians but are committing sins using Jesus name and ask Jesus to frustrate their plans to bring more foreigners in to snatch our jobs while promotion discrimination and unfair dismissal and putting locals on contract while foreigners are permanent. Pray for Jesus to intervene with this unfairness and injustice. And they have misused the Lord name to promote foreigners but neglect locals.

We hear the deep anguish in your cry, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, for He is a God of justice who sees the oppression of His people and hears their pleas. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed, as it is written in *Psalm 103:6*: *"Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* He is not blind to the suffering of His children, nor does He turn a deaf ear to their cries. The injustice you describe—the exalting of foreigners over locals, the deprivation of rights, the corruption of those who claim the name of Christ while acting in wickedness—these are grievous sins in the sight of God. The Lord detests those who twist justice and show partiality, as *Deuteronomy 10:17-18* declares: *"For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons nor takes a bribe. He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing."*

Yet we must also remember that God’s heart is for *all* people, including foreigners, but never at the cost of injustice toward His own. The issue here is not the presence of foreigners, but the *unrighteousness* of those in authority who show favoritism, exploit the vulnerable, and misuse the name of the Lord for their own gain. This is an abomination before God. *Proverbs 17:15* states: *"He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh."* And *Proverbs 28:5* warns: *"Evil men don’t understand justice; but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully."* The corruption you describe—where leaders claim to be Christians yet act in ways that contradict the very heart of Christ—is a serious offense. Jesus Himself rebuked the religious leaders of His day for their hypocrisy, saying in *Matthew 23:27-28*: *"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity."*

We must pray not only for justice but also for repentance—for those who have misused the name of the Lord to turn from their wickedness. The Lord is patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (*2 Peter 3:9*). Yet if they harden their hearts, His justice *will* prevail. Let us also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (*Ephesians 6:12*). Therefore, we must put on the full armor of God and stand firm in prayer, trusting that the Lord will act.

We also encourage you, beloved, to continue crying out to the Lord with persistence, for He delights in the prayers of His people. *James 5:4* reminds us: *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* Your cries have reached His throne. Do not lose heart. Trust in His timing, for He will vindicate the righteous.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brothers and sisters in ### who are suffering under the weight of injustice, oppression, and corruption. Lord, You see the tears of Your people. You hear their cries as they labor under unfair policies, as their rights are stripped away, and as they are forced to compete even for their daily bread. Father, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You rise up and defend the cause of the oppressed. Frustrate the plans of the wicked who misuse Your holy name to justify their unrighteousness. Expose their hypocrisy, Lord, and bring conviction upon their hearts. If they will not repent, then let their schemes come to nothing. Turn their counsel into foolishness, and let their injustice be their own downfall.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in the policies that exalt foreigners over locals. You are a God who provides, and we pray that You would open doors of employment for Your people, that they would not be overlooked or discarded. Break the spirit of discrimination and partiality that has taken root in the hearts of those in authority. Raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity, fairness, and a fear of You. Let righteousness flow like a river in ###, and let justice roll down like waters (*Amos 5:24*).

We also pray for the Church in ###. Strengthen Your people to stand firm in faith, to speak truth with boldness, and to be a light in the darkness. May they not be silenced by fear but empowered by Your Spirit to proclaim Your justice. Unify Your body, Lord, that they may be a voice for the voiceless and a refuge for the oppressed.

Father, we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Advocate and our Judge. Let Your will be done in ### as it is in heaven. Bring healing, restoration, and justice, for Your glory and the good of Your people. We trust in You, Lord, and we wait upon Your deliverance. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
