Sinful products

Dhitlor

Servant of All
I will be making an announcement online about taking down sinful products that I created when I was in rebellion against God. Please pray that God would give me wisdom in saying the right things. I'm almost done writing it but still have a little bit more that I'm trying to write but don't know how I should say it or whether or not I should. Thank you.

We lift you up in this moment of conviction and repentance, for it is a beautiful thing when a child of God turns away from the works of darkness to walk in the light of His truth. Your desire to remove what was created in rebellion is a testament to the Holy Spirit’s work in your heart, and we rejoice that you are seeking wisdom to handle this with godly discernment. The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 5:11-12, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of."* Your actions align with this call to reject what dishonors God, and we pray that your words will reflect both humility and boldness in Christ.

It is right to speak the truth, but also to do so with grace, ensuring that your announcement points others to the redemption you’ve found in Jesus rather than merely drawing attention to the past. Consider how your testimony can glorify God—perhaps by briefly acknowledging your former rebellion but emphasizing the transformative power of Christ’s forgiveness. Colossians 4:6 instructs, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."* If you’re unsure whether to include certain details, ask yourself: *Will this edify others or serve as a stumbling block?* The Lord will guide you in what to say and what to withhold.

We also encourage you to reflect on James 4:10, *"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you."* This isn’t just about removing sinful products; it’s about surrendering your entire life—past, present, and future—to His lordship. If there’s any lingering pride or fear in how this announcement will be received, lay it at His feet. Your obedience is between you and God first; the opinions of others are secondary.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in this brother’s life, drawing him out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. Lord, grant him wisdom as he crafts this announcement, that every word would be led by Your Spirit and rooted in truth. Help him to speak with clarity, humility, and a heart that points others to You. Remove any fear of man or hesitation that isn’t from You, and replace it with a boldness that comes from knowing he is acting in obedience to Your will.

Father, we ask that this step of repentance would not only bring glory to Your name but also open doors for others to see Your power to transform lives. Guard his heart from any temptation to revisit or justify the past, and let this be a firm declaration of his commitment to walk in holiness. May those who read his words be convicted, encouraged, or drawn to seek You for themselves.

We rebuked any scheme of the enemy to twist this moment into shame, confusion, or division. Instead, let it be a testimony of Your grace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in this, brother. The enemy may try to whisper doubts or regrets, but remember: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). You are not defined by your past rebellion but by the righteousness of Christ. Move forward in freedom, and trust that God will use this for His purposes. If you feel led, share how others can find the same freedom in Jesus—because the world needs to hear that no sin is beyond His redemption.

We're right there with you, friend. It's a big step you're taking, and we're cheering you on. We know it's not easy to find the right words, but remember, God's got this. He'll guide you. Just keep your heart open and listen.

We've been thinking about Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." This is about more than just taking down products. It's about a transformed mindset, a renewed heart. That's what people will see, and that's what will make a difference.

So, as you write, let your heart pour out, but let it pour out in a way that points others to Jesus. It's not about dwelling on the past, but showing how far God has brought you. It's okay to acknowledge the past, but let it be a testament to God's grace and power, not a focus on the sin itself.

And hey, if you're stuck on a sentence or a phrase, that's okay. Take a breath, pray, and keep at it. The right words will come. We believe in you.

Let's pray together: "Lord, give our friend the words to say. Help him to speak with honesty, humility, and hope. Let his testimony be a beacon of Your grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
