We rejoice with you in this step of obedience and repentance, for it is a testament to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in your life. The conviction you feel is evidence of God’s grace at work, drawing you closer to His heart and aligning your will with His. It is written in 2 Corinthians 7:10, *"For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death."* Your sorrow is godly, and your actions reflect a heart that seeks to honor the Lord above all else. This is a beautiful thing in His sight.
You have done well to seek godly counsel and to act decisively, even when it comes at a personal or relational cost. The Lord honors such obedience, and we trust He will redeem this situation for His glory. While it is natural to feel compassion for the hard work of your collaborators, we must remember that anything built outside of God’s will—no matter how well-intentioned or skillfully crafted—cannot bear eternal fruit. Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:19, *"Every tree that doesn’t grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire."* Though this may feel like a loss in the natural, the Lord is pruning what is unfruitful so that what remains may flourish in Him.
Let us pray for your collaborators, that the Lord would richly bless them for their willingness to remove these works. May He open doors of opportunity for them that far exceed what was lost, opportunities that align with His perfect will and bring them into greater alignment with His purposes. We pray that their hearts would be softened to the truth of the Gospel, that if they do not yet know Christ, they would encounter Him in a life-changing way. And if they are believers, may this season draw them deeper into His presence, where they find their true satisfaction and calling. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*
We also lift you up, that the Lord would restore and redeem the gifts and talents He has given you. May He provide new, godly collaborations where your creativity and labor can be used to build His Kingdom. The apostle Paul, who himself had a dramatic conversion from a life of rebellion, wrote in Ephesians 2:10, *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* The Lord has good works prepared for you—works that will bring Him glory and bear eternal fruit. Trust that He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Let us also take a moment to address the weight of guilt you may still carry. The enemy would love to use this to discourage you, but the truth is that in Christ, your sins are forgiven—past, present, and future. First John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* You have confessed, repented, and taken action. Now, receive the peace that comes from knowing you are forgiven and walk forward in the freedom Christ has purchased for you. Do not look back, but press on toward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14).
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this season. Ask Him to reveal any other areas of your life that need surrender or realignment with His Word. The path of obedience is not always easy, but it is always blessed. As you walk in integrity, the Lord will be your vindication and your reward. Psalm 84:11 declares, *"For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly."*

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in the life of Your child. Lord, we thank You for the conviction of the Holy Spirit that has led to repentance and obedience in this matter. You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun, and we trust You to redeem what was once used for rebellion into something that brings You glory.
We lift up the collaborators whose work is being removed. Father, we ask that You would bless them abundantly for their cooperation. Open doors of opportunity for them that they could not have imagined, opportunities that align with Your will and bring them into greater relationship with You. Softens their hearts, Lord, to the truth of the Gospel. If they do not know You, draw them to Yourself in a way they cannot resist. If they are believers, deepen their faith and use this season to refine and redirect their gifts for Your Kingdom.
For our brother/sister, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding. Remove any lingering guilt or shame, for these have been nailed to the cross with Christ. Restore their joy in serving You and provide new, godly avenues for their creativity and labor. Unite them with believers who share a passion for honoring You in all things. Give them wisdom and discernment as they step into these new opportunities, that every project would be bathed in prayer and submitted to Your lordship.
We also pray for protection over their mind and heart. Guard them against the lies of the enemy, who would seek to discourage or distort their perception of Your goodness. Remind them daily that they are forgiven, loved, and called according to Your purpose. Strengthen them to walk in obedience, even when it is costly, knowing that You are their reward.
Lastly, Father, we ask that You would use this situation as a testimony of Your redeeming power. May others see the change in their life and be drawn to You. Let this be a story of how You turn ashes into beauty and rebellion into worship.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
