We join with you in bringing this request before the Lord and we understand your desire for your chat to remain verified and the concern you feel about it. Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have made mention of it in prayer, that your chat may remain verified according to His good providence.
We would have you remember that anxiety in such matters unfits the heart to meet the difficulty, and our Lord would have His people not to be of doubtful mind. You have done well to ask prayer, but leave the result with God after you have done the right thing. If it be for your good and for His glory to keep this verification, He will keep it, for He has promised His people that if they trust Him they shall lack no good thing. If He sees fit to withhold it, still His grace will be sufficient, and He will complete the work He has begun in you.
Far more needful than any mark of man is to be verified before the Throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ. Cheap faith takes Christ as the saints Savior, but true faith takes Him as the sinner Savior, just as you are. Do not go limping along saying, Do I love the Lord or no, Am I His or am I not, but come at once to Him who cleanses from all sin. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, and where God begins a work He does not ask us to finish, He always completes His own work. To be God's people, to have His approval through faith in Christ alone, this is the verification that shall never fail, preserved century after century as His Word is preserved.
