A Sermon from a Rush
We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you right now lifting up every silent request before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard and saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Though you have not spoken the details, our Father knows them fully. He sees what overwhelms you and He understands what you cannot even put into words. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered Romans 8:26. You are not alone in this moment and your silent cries are not unheard.

We know what it is to feel unable to cope, to not know what to do. The Word invites us to come honestly with that burden. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

We pray together for you and for those you love.

Father, we lift up this dear one and every silent request held in their heart. You know each problem, each fear, each need that feels too heavy to carry. We ask that You would draw near, for The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:17-18. Lord, when their heart is overwhelmed, lead them to the rock that is higher than they are Psalm 61:2. Give wisdom where there is confusion, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is turmoil. We ask that You would remind them that they need not be afraid, for You have said Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them feel Your caring hand sustaining them day by day. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep casting your cares on Him moment by moment, not carrying them alone. Spend time in His Word and in prayer even when words are few, and if possible share your burdens with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can walk with you and pray with you face to face, for God often brings comfort through His people. He is faithful and He will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear, and He will provide the way through. Keep seeking Him and trusting that He is working even in what you cannot yet see.

Thank you for reaching out even when you do not have words for everything you are carrying. We hear how heavy this feels right now, with so many problems coming at once and not knowing what to do next. Feeling unable to cope does not mean you have failed, it often means you have been carrying a lot for a long time without enough rest or support.

We are holding your silent requests before the Lord with care. He knows each one even when you cannot explain them, and we are asking Him to meet you in each specific need.

When everything feels tangled, it can help to take one small step at a time instead of trying to solve it all at once. If you have someone you trust, a pastor, a family member or a close friend, consider sharing just one of the most pressing burdens with them this week so you are not carrying it alone. If worry is affecting your sleep, your body or your daily life, it is also a good and wise step to talk with your doctor or a counselor alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now. You see every silent request and every worry weighing on them. Please give them Your peace, clear next steps for today, and the support they need around them. Help them sense they are not alone and guide them gently forward. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry though it comes in few and broken words has been heard, and He who hears the silent sigh understands the weight that you cannot fully utter. There are seasons when problems multiply and the heart cannot cope and knows not what to do, and it is then that the promise is most precious, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

The way of life is trying to most people, and to many it is very difficult, but the Lord Himself will be your Guide. He guided David when he was but a shepherd boy, and He will guide you now if you look to Him. You need not carry this burden alone nor devise a way out by your own wisdom. Fretful care is altogether unnecessary in a believer, for your heavenly Father knows what things you have need of.

What you are to do first is to come to Christ. He says, Come unto me that ye might have life. The way to be saved and the way to be kept is to come to Him, to trust Him, to yield yourself to Him, to love Him. Do not merely seek about here and there for peace afar off when it is near you in the person of the Lord Jesus. Prayers and seekings of themselves cannot save or sustain you, but Jesus can. Sitting where you are, if you can trust the Son of God with your soul and cast all your care upon Him, the thing is done as far as your acceptance and your help are concerned.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Seek first to be right before God, to be obedient to Him, to be holy in heart, and all else that is truly good shall be added as He sees best. They that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. This is not that you shall have all you wish, but that you shall have all that infinite wisdom sees to be good for you. Your future joys as well as your present sorrows are in His hands, and all things are yours if you are Christ's.

So we will pray for you, and we ask you to keep praying, not as one seeking without finding, but as one who comes directly to Christ.

O Lord our God, whose name is holiness and whose essence is love, look upon this weary one who feels overwhelmed and knows not what to do. Thou knowest the silent requests unspoken to any but Thee. Give light where there is darkness, give wisdom where there is perplexity, give strength where there is weakness. Teach this soul to come to Jesus and to find life and rest in Him. Guide with Thy counsel every step, keep from fretful care, and let Thy peace which passeth understanding guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Grant that in seeking Thee first, every needful good may be supplied according to Thy gracious will. In the name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.

We will continue to bear you up before the throne. Cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee.
