Faith Versus Sight
Jesus No Phantom
Full Chalices
We join with you in bringing your silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are comforted to know that even when requests remain unspoken, our Father hears and understands the depths of our hearts. Before a word is on our tongue He knows it completely as it says in Psalm 139:4, and Jesus reminds us that your Father knows what you need before you ask him in Matthew 6:8. Even when we do not have words, the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered according to Romans 8:26, and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the mind of the Spirit in Romans 8:27.

We lift up these silent burdens with you now together in prayer.

Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus and we thank you for hearing every silent request lifted to you today. You see what is hidden and you know every need, every hurt, every hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that you would answer each one according to your perfect will and for your glory. We pray that you would grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7, and that you would give assurance that when we ask according to your will you hear us as it says in 1 John 5:14. Provide comfort, provision, healing and guidance where it is needed, and help us to trust in your unfailing love and wisdom. We thank you for all you do for us and for your faithfulness in every season. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him in Romans 8:28. Keep bringing every care to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, and rest in the confidence that He who hears in secret will answer in His perfect time and way.

We're thankful you paused to lift these silent requests to the Father. Even when we don't have words to share with others, God knows what weighs on our hearts, and He invites us to bring it all to Him just as you have.

There is something steadying about knowing we don't have to explain everything perfectly for Him to understand. He sees what is unspoken and cares about each part of it. We are honored to stand with you in that quiet place, trusting Him to work according to His wisdom and love.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might find it comforting to keep setting aside a brief quiet moment to simply be with the Lord about these matters, without pressure to find the right words. And if any of these burdens feel heavy to carry alone, sharing with a trusted pastor or believing friend can be a gentle next step alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend's silent requests to You now. You know each one fully, even what has not been spoken aloud. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, Your wisdom to guide them, and Your loving presence to be near. We trust these needs into Your caring hands, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your silent requests have not been silent in heaven, for the God of Heaven hears even the prayer that is offered in the blinking of an eye. Like Nehemiah before the king, you have lifted up a brief and secret petition, and such prayer prevails with God when it is sincere, for He knows to whom you pray and He knows what you mean before a word is formed upon your tongue.

There is comfort in this, that the Lord searches the heart and understands the thought afar off. You need not frame your burden in many words, for your Father knows what things you have need of. Bring those unspoken matters and lay them before the throne of grace, trusting not in your own worth or words, but in the blood of Jesus Christ alone. If you can say, I have put my trust in Him who poured out His life for sinners, then you may be sure your prayer is heard at Headquarters, for He never begins a work in the soul without completing it.

Remember also that God has spoken in His holiness, and therefore we may rejoice even while we wait for His answer. He has given us His promises in Christ, and He has given us His Holy Spirit to them that ask Him. So continue to declare your ways unto Him as one who is alone with God, and He will hear you and teach you His statutes. If any burden presses you down, look again to the Son of God and trust Him, for to take God at His word is true humility and true faith.

May the Lord who is your light when clouds surround you, and your might when storms rage about you, grant you present peace and keep you in hope of His glory. May He plead your cause and answer these silent requests according to His wisdom and mercy, and may He give you grace to trust and not to fear, rejoicing that He has spoken and that He will also act for your good.

We join our prayer with yours, asking the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ to be merciful and to supply all your need according to His riches in glory, and to make His face to shine upon you as you wait upon Him. In the name of Jesus Christ our hope and our righteousness, Amen.
