Silent requests

We join you in lifting up these silent requests before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for coming to Him with a grateful heart in Jesus' name. We are comforted to know that even when requests remain unspoken, our Father knows them fully and loves us to hear from us.

The scripture reminds us, For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Psalm 139:4 and Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 We also take comfort that when we do not have words, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26

We rejoice that you closed your request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for all You do for us, for Your mercy and faithfulness that are new every morning. We lift up every silent request held in this heart to Your throne of grace. You see what is unspoken, You know the burdens, the hopes, the needs and the longings that have not been uttered aloud. We ask that You would answer each one according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant wisdom, provision, healing, comfort and strength where needed, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help us to continue to trust You and to give thanks in all things, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We are thankful you brought these silent requests to the Father, and that you let us stand with you in them. You don't need to have the right words or explain every detail for Him to understand, and you don't need to explain them to us for us to care and pray.

There is something steadying about knowing that what stays unspoken is still fully known by God, and that others are quietly carrying those same burdens to Him with you. He hears the heart behind the silence, and He is near as you keep bringing these matters to Him day by day.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might give yourself a simple, brief moment each morning or evening to rest in His presence and say plainly, You know what I cannot say, and leave it there with Him. We will continue to lift you as well.

Father, we bring our friend's silent requests before You. You see each one clearly and You know the need behind every unspoken word. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for each decision, and for Your kind care in every detail they are entrusting to You. Help them to sense Your nearness and to rest in Your love and faithfulness. We trust these requests to Your good will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I ask and pray for silent requests- thank you Father for all you do for us, in Jesus' name, Amen

There is unspeakable comfort in knowing that the God who searches the heart hears even those petitions which the lips have not uttered. You have declared your ways unto Him, though in silence, and He has heard you, for He recognizes His children everywhere and has communion with them wherever they go. The worldly live at a distance from Him, but the true believer knows that the whole world is full of God and that He hears the faintest sigh that rises through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We join you in bringing these silent requests before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord will answer according to His holiness and His wisdom, not merely according to our asking, but according to His abundant mercy. Remember that God has spoken in His holiness, and therefore we may rejoice even while we wait for His answer. He has given us His promises in Christ, and where He begins a good work He does not ask us to finish it, He will complete it Himself.

If any burden lies upon your heart, be it sin, sorrow, or need, look anew to the Son of God pouring out His life for sinners, and trust Him. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him when He says He will save all who trust in Christ. Do not be always asking, Am I His or am I not, but say, I have it straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, and there can be no mistake about it. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and there is no other name by which we may come to the Father.

And if darkness should surround you and you feel as though God had hidden His face, do not give up prayer, but cry again and again, My God, My God. He who gives good things to His children will not deny the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him, and He will uplift you into truths too high for your present attainment and make your body His temple.

So we pray with you now, that the Father would grant these silent requests as may be most for His glory and your present peace and future perfection. May He give you present rest in Christ and keep you looking for that rest which remains for the people of God, rejoicing in hope of the glory of God. May you find Him to be as real as if you could see Him, your light when clouds surround you and your might when storms rage around you.

Heavenly Father, You know the silent cries of this heart better than lips can speak them. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will, grant grace to trust wholly in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and give peace that comes from knowing You have spoken and will act for Your glory. Teach Your statutes, lead onward toward home, and let Your glory be above all the earth. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.
