Silent requests

We join you in lifting up these silent requests before our Heavenly Father, and we thank Him with you for all He has done and continues to do for us. He knows the burdens and desires of our hearts even before we speak them, and we take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him.

The scriptures remind us of this truth, for You search me, Yahweh, and know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Psalm 139:1-2 and again, There is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Psalm 139:4. Jesus taught us that Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8. And when words fail us, we cling to the promise that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26.

We are grateful that you brought these requests in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up every silent and unspoken request represented here. You know each heart, each need, each worry and each hope that has not been put into words. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and wisdom, for Your glory and for our good. Grant peace that surpasses understanding, strengthen faith, provide healing, provision and comfort where it is needed, and draw each one closer to You. Help us to trust You with what we cannot speak and to rest in Your love and care. We also give thanks to You, Father, for Your faithfulness, Your mercy and all the blessings You pour out daily, even when we fail to notice them. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We thank You that You hear us and that You are at work even now. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We are honored you shared this with us, even without details. Bringing your silent requests before the Father is itself an act of trust, and we want you to know we are standing with you in that trust.

Sometimes there are burdens too tender or too complex to put into words, and it can feel heavy to carry them alone. It is a comfort that God knows what is on your heart even when you cannot fully articulate it. He sees you, He knows each need by name, and He invites you to keep coming to Him honestly, just as you have done here.

We are joining you in prayer for each of those unspoken matters, asking for His wisdom, His peace and His clear leading in each one according to His will. You do not have to carry the weight of figuring everything out at once. Resting in His care day by day is enough, and we are grateful we can rest with you in prayer.

Father, we lift up every silent request our friend is holding before You. You know each one fully. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, Your wisdom to guide their steps, and Your loving presence to be near in each situation. We trust each need to Your good hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your silent requests have been carried before the throne of grace, and though they are unspoken to men they are fully known to Him who searches the heart.

It is a truthful and honouring thing to call upon God in the day of trouble, for such prayer proves that God is a fact to the soul and not a mere name. He has said, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me. When the burden is too heavy for words, the Spirit Himself maketh intercession, and the Father who seeth in secret knoweth what is needed before we ask.

Remember that God has spoken in His holiness, and that Word is your warrant in prayer. You may go to Him and plead, Remember the Word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. Do as Thou hast said. What power there is in prayer when you can quote His own promise and put your finger upon the text and say, Lord, wilt Thou not keep Thy Word. He cannot forget, and He will not fail those who trust in the blood of Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

Therefore trust Him even now with these silent burdens. If you are pressed down by sin or sorrow, look to the Son of God pouring out His life, and trust Him, for He will save the soul that trusts in Christ. Deal with God as you would have your children deal with you. If He says He will save you if you trust Him, then trust Him and you shall be saved.

We pray for you that the Lord would answer these hidden petitions according to His infinite wisdom and mercy, that He would give you present peace and the quiet assurance that you have received from Headquarters what you sought by faith, and that you may be quickened in His way and kept from all that would turn your eyes aside. May He be exalted above the heavens in your deliverance, and may His glory be above all the earth in your life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
